Wasn't there talk of one recently?

Was a really interesting mix of people in that band. But ya, would love a reunion.

I highly doubt Tommy and Jack would want anything to do with Uncle Ped these days, so no.

For sure... I think Night Ranger tours so much that it isn't very possible. Tommy Shaw is also tied up
doing dates with Styx. Great band though. I would love to see them play together.

Or Ped with them today. I don't remember him being batshit crazy in 1990. Loud, offensive and throwing around the n-word, sure. But not living in an alternate reality, hating on women like a pimply teenage incel and fantasizing about killing politicians.

Oh, I see. I just personally wouldn’t want anything to do with a nutty MAGAtard like him these days. Jack must be better at tolerating ‘em than me (unless he’s one of them, of course).

When I saw NR last year Jack was talking about how great it was to be back in the "Great FREE state of Florida", which played well to the Daytona Beach audience.

So, yep, that’s very MAGA-ish. Just depends on how Tommy and the drummer feel about all that.

Or there is the possibility that some people are capable of interacting/socializing/working together, despite having different political views..........

That kind of attitude is what gets us tyrants like Trump. So, no. It’s harder here in the Deep South, but we should be more prejudiced against MAGAtards. At least the hardcore Uncle Ped variety, anyway.

Jack being down isn't surprising at all, other than the fact that they're originally from San Francisco. You have to remember, most of these guys are rich, so they're going to swing Republican, and Keri Kelli was going around wearing derogatory shirts about Dr. Fauci. I've always wondered if Jeff being gone was really a substance abuse issue like they claimed, or if it was more of a personality thing with the rest of the band.

So, basically, you have:

Ted - Very MAGA
Jack - at least sympathetic
Michael - played drums in Lynyrd Skynyrd for 25 YEARS
Tommy - yeah, Styx is a Chicago band, EXCEPT Tommy isn't an original member, he's from ALABAMA

Oh, and need I remind you, THE NAME OF THE BAND IS DAMN YANKEES.

So, Trump or no Trump, I think the guys all get along just fine, the issue is just that they each have steady paychecks (except maybe Ted at this point), and no one wants to fuck with that to tour a band that only had a handful of hits.

Thinking Ted doesn't need the $$$, and if he did need a quick cash grab it wouldn't be DY.

Doubtful. FTR, the guy who took Jeff's place makes Uncle Ped look like a choirboy on the MAGAtard scale.

I posted something very similar a month or two ago here. A short run would be really solid.

Yep. He's also pretty liberal in his online presence. So much for the MAGAts being open-minded, especially considering who they replaced him with.

Jack is very conservative but has always been big on not preaching about politics to the audience.
