This is presumably just more of the same special guest shit they’ve done before. They’ve been floating this since the rock hall, but apparently Lou was a “no” this latest time around because management wasn’t prepared to let him sing any of the big guns solo. (He specifically referred to IWTKWLI in a recent interview on the “RockHistoryMusic” YouTube channel).

Evidently the issue was resolved or Lou decided he could use the moolah after all.

I saw him last year. He did a hometown show in Rochester. He sounded OKish on like 4 songs. Watch the rock hall song he did it’s not good unfortunately. He had such a fantastic voice before he got sick. Maybe he will try for a Shadow King reunion next

I think people are overstating how bad Lou is singing. He’s not THAT bad. He’s not 25 anymore, but he still does OK. My only complaint is that he changes the cadences of the songs. Same thing Halford does. It’s annoying. But his voice is at least decent. … It’s not post voice, pre-lip-synch Paul Stanley bad that’s for sure.

I like to see Lou do his 1 or 2 songs on something like the RRHOF concert, but I'll keep the memory of seeing the real band once upon a time.
