How the fuck can you think Shake a Leg is near perfection? That song is horrible.

Blackberry Smoke - The Whippoorwill

They don't have any bad albums whatsoever, but this one is their most consistently great.

Same. Not just from them but it's one of the most well-balanced southern rock albums, maybe ever. Live albums don't count in this thread but if they did I probably would've thrown in Leave A Scar: Live in NC or Homecoming. Both are perfect.

LitaStrauss wrote: Thu Aug 28, 2025 6:05 am I reconsidered my initial list and have since taken all those records and thrown them in the trash. My opinion was wrong and I can admit it.

My new list of perfect albums is as follows and many people say these are the best records and they've never seen such perfect records.

Def Leppard "Songs From The Sparkle Lounge"
Guns N Roses "Chinese Democracy"
Iron Maiden "Virtual XI"
Judas Priest "Demolition"
Motley Crue "Generation Swine"
Megadeth "Risk"
Metallica "St. Anger"
Poison "Hollyweird"
Skid Row "Subhuman Race"
Van Halen "3"

Thank you for your attention to this matter!
I will add to your list of perfect-beyond-perfection choices:

CCR - Mardi Gras
Nitro - H.W.D.W.S. (which includes that outstanding cover of "Cat Scratch Fever")
every Limp Bizkit album (released or even merely conceived in Fred's head!)

Acquired taste departures that the band later disavowed are not "perfect".

Say Moving Pictures. C'mon. You can do it.

I already included MP. Yeah, I admit Power Windows wasn't from their greatest era, but it still sounds great for what it is, and it's still one of my favorite Rush albums even if the band themselves didn't care for it.

Really want to say Sticky Fingers by the Stones but that cover of "You Gotta Move" is just a step down from the rest IMO.
