Part of the NBC deal is that they can poach a better matchup late in the season.UtahRatt wrote:Rageman wrote:http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/20 ... day-night/
Nov 22 game between Chiefs/Chargers has been dropped to a 4:05 start and the Bengals/Cardinals matchup is now the Sunday night game.
I didn't read it yet, is it because the game is a better match up? Fucking funny, I wished they'd do that to our local games. We're forced to watch meaningless Bronco games even late in the year over playoff implication games.

Naw, he sure wouldn't . Neither would Johnson to an extent. If you were a shit player and fucked up, Johnson would make sure you didn't make the flight back and were locked out of the facility back in Dallas. If you were a player that made plays and one of the best players on the team? Yeah, there was a leniency. Pretty sure those Cowboys teams were successful. lolUtahRatt wrote:Bludegeon wrote:
Think Tom Landry would allow those antics? All he'd have to do is stare them down into submission.
Hardy first has some no name WR in his face after that letdown, then , a hobbled Bryant next? Sorry, I am gonna be pissed too. Was it handled correctly? No, no way. I have seen this on other teams. Still, doesn't make it right. I just don't see as a big deal. I see that fact that the Defense can't step up when needed and the offense blows. This has nothing to do with flare ups on the sideline. Has to do with players not playing well. These are grown ass men and if a little spat on the sideline is gonna upset them and cause them to play like shit, that is pathetic. And, what happened with Dez this past week was him yelling at Bennett, because Bennett was butthurt his teammate took a legal hit. A hard hit, but, legal.. Where the fuck was Bennett when Golden Tate leveled Lee on an ACTUAL blindside hit? Nowhere to be seen. Hell, even Carroll was on the sidelines jumping around. So, Bryant pointing at Bennett and then the benches clear. THAT is something I like to see in a team. That's a team that isn't getting upset because of spats and exploding.. That's a team backin their own. Now, a couple more losses? LOL> I am sure the team will explode. lol
But, yes, I do agree Garrett should've done something. But, he is too busy clapping after every fuck up the Dallas players do.. Jones just needs to shut the fuck up.. But, we Cowboys fans know the score and know it ain't changing anytime soon. Not until this team is sold.
Very good point as to why they may not have been successful in the big picture of things the past 20 years. Biggest roadblock is Jones.
Romo will shore up the QB part, just no so sure about the RB and other positions on the team.

So that Saints have won 4 out of 5, but you are dismissing the winsUtahRatt wrote:Giving up 49 points to the lowly 4-4 Giants is a team on fire? The only team that's given up more points then the Saint's is the Lions.....I'd hate to see what you think scorching is. They had to score 52 points vs one of the worst passing defenses in the league to win. Where do you come up with this shit?Machado wrote:Same can be said for the Saints, who are on fire right now.
Their wins were against suspect teams and one shitty team, Dallas. And you're still making excuses because they gave the Saint's their first win of the season by choking in OT.
because the opponents were suspect. OK. sure thing amigo!

Re: The NFL Thread
The Colts fucking suck. And I'm sick of people besmirching the NFC East...the AFC whatever the fuck the Colts play in is bar none, hands down, the WORST fucking division in football. 3-5 gets you first place today in that shitshow.
Listen to these losers:
Coach Chuck Pagano decided his "guys fought their tails off" and Luck offered "we're a darned good football team" and linebacker D'Qwell Jackson was saying "we're in every ball game" and so many people in that locker room, too many people, reminded the media that "we're tied for first in our division,"
This is what fucking LOSER teams say, talking about how good they did after a close loss in a pathetic season. I know cause I've been hearing this shit from Redskins for years after only losing by 6 points some game they were supposed to get blown out in.
Come back P13!
This is a team that was supposed to be one of the "best organizations in football." Clearly that went out the window the day they cut Peyton Manning. Besides having Andrew Leaf fall in their lap, they haven't done ANYTHING right. Free agent busts, disastrous Trent Richardson trade (not since Rick Mirier has such a shitty player cost TWO teams first round draft picks), and hiring the wrong guy to be coach.
Irsay is a drunk idiot, their front office has no idea what they fuck they are doing, and besides Andrew Leaf playing over his head, the great "success" of the Colts over the past few years is owed to the awful division they play in. If the Redskins got to play the Jaguars and Titans four times a year I bet they'd have won a couple more division titles.

Report: Browns trade Joe Thomas and a 4th to Broncos for a 1st and a 2nd.
Rumors of the Patriots trading picks to Titans for Jason McCourtey.
Edit- As of now, neither deal made it to completion.

The NFL trade deadline is always a dud.
The Chargers put half of their team on season ending IR today. Brutal season. Oh well, next year in LA should be fun.
And for the first time in over a decade the Raiders look like a legit threat to make the playoffs.

Raiders have all but wrapped up a Wild Card. They probably won't catch Denver, but the WC looks very likely.Gritt wrote: And for the first time in over a decade the Raiders look like a legit threat to make the playoffs.
The bay area is buzzing about the Raiders. Most 49ers fans have changed their alliance to Oakland.

Well I wouldn't say it's all but wrapped up. They have to stay healthy. Their starters are solid but they haven't built up much depth yet.Machado wrote:Raiders have all but wrapped up a Wild Card. I never thought I'd say that losing Ryan Fitzpatrick is a killer but if he's out for any length of time, the Jets are screwed.
The wild card is a three team race with Pittsburgh, Oakland, and New York. The Chiefs are probably the only other team I could see sneaking in and stealing one.

Dallas cuts Randle.

Re: The NFL Thread
If you watched the games.......The Raiders probably wont get the Wild Card. Jack Del Rio is the worst coach in the league. They're doing well considering the secondary is bush league and they've had injuries on the D-line. They have some tough games ahead that they're not good enough to win.Machado wrote:Raiders have all but wrapped up a Wild Card. If the Raiders make the Wild Card it will be because KC totally folds but KC is still the better team and should play a better second half.
I wouldn't count out the Chargers from winning a few to make the AFC west a mess.
It's nice seeing the Raiders finally winning some games and actually have some good players on the field but they're an average team. Actually, when you stand back and look at it.....You see most of the NFC and AFC is full of average to bad teams.
It's a weird year in the NFL, a lot of shitty teams. Even the best teams can lose on any given day.
Machado,
The Bay Area don't switch side ya Barney. Where do you come up with this stuff? They may not be rivals and there's not a lot of hate between them but they don't like each other or support each other. I have family in the bay and know it well. There isn't a huge BUZZ, people see them as a better team but not a contender.
Are you in the Bay? I love the area it's great to visit but I'd never live there. I hate public transportation even if San Fran has a good bus system. The BART and trolley's help, if they only had another trolly line or two it would be a lot smoother getting around. Just going from the Mission to the Warf is basically time to get a Taxi. Ages ago I Turned down a job in the mission starting at a tattoo parlor.
Anyway, I was just wondering how you get this, BUZZ in the bay area over the Raiders when I have a direct line and been there a lot.

Well on the bright side at least for you fuckers he had no trade value and he was only playing on his rookie contract so it's not like you've blown a lot of money on him or missed out on a possible good trade.Bludegeon wrote:Cutting Randle came two years too late IMO..
Although Jerry should of gotten in touch with Snyder and seen about swapping Randle for RG3 so at least you could of had a QB.

Him and Kap over in SF should start a league together because that's the only way those 2 are ever going to play football again.
So long to those endorsements Kap

Cowboys < every other team in the shitty NFC East

That trade could've happened too. Maybe if Jerry would've wiped the dog shit off of his shoe, and contacted the skins, they could've had RG3 in Dallas today. lol.
Naw, Jerry just wiped the shit off with Randle's old jersey... course, the dogshit is worth more than RG3 and the jersey.. hhahaha

He's 3 appearances away from being Jim Kelly

Losing in the SB is equivalent to not even getting there.
