Or take a page from the Globetrotters and face the same opponent every week. Sanchez = Washington Generals.

That D is epic. Lewis is still playing at a high level. With that defense all they will need is a decent running game come January and they will be tough to stop.
Yep. For some reason both the Ravens and the Jets seem determined to try and do things on offense that neither is built for. If the coach will get out of his own way and do what they've been doing really well for the past decade or so, Bmore is going to go far this year.

The bye week is perfect timing.

Allows injured players to heal.

1/4 of the season is over.
2-2 is average. Can't go 8-8 and expect to be a great team.
I made the decision to turn off the TV at half time for the remaining COWBOYS games :P It'll made the illusion that the COWBOYS will finish the season 13 - 3

Hey, where did that WR Robinson came from?! Amazing kid!

And I like that Felix is making a better effort. Tashard and Murray are NOT options for the 'Boys running game, so Jones better step up and keep pushing yards.

During the game the Fox announcers told the story of how
Robinson signed with the Cowboys. Something to do with the Chargers releasing him and the Chargers telling Dallas how good Robinson is. He played so well yesterday.
Felix can be very, very good-when healthy. All about keeping him on the field.
I prefer Choice/Murray over Marion Barber. Those 2 will do well in the roles they play.

The Colts will most certainly be there for the Superbowl this year.

Since the players from the home city automatically get tickets.

Amazing how he flat out disappeared from this thread after Indy went 0-2. talk about fair weather fans.

Blame ESPN.

Media Sensation gone terribly wrong.

Eagles were the "it story" at the beginning of the season.
ESPN swallowed their balls daily.
Now ESPN will be moving their attention towards Detroit and so on and so on

Leave it to Andy Reid to fuck THAT up. What went unnoticed is that Mike Vick had his best game as a pro...491 total yards from scrimmage. DeSean Jackson had a game for the ages (kind of like Maclin did a couple of weeks ago in another loss). There is no way that team should be in the shape its in except for Andy fucking it up AGAIN.

I honestly would have no problem with Andy as a GM only. He has pulled off some really good drafts, both as a coach AND as a coach/GM. However, he has NO business on the sidelines or being involved in the coaching of that team. Hopefully Lurie starts to see that soon. With the schedule coming up they could be 1-7 by the midway point the way they are playing and that city will burn the Linc down if that happens.

I knew the Pittsburgh thing was coming, look how bad they played last year except the AFC Divisional playoff game. They got where they were by pure luck.

A couple of observations about tonight's game:

Indy should have started Painter from jump.

That young Tampa team is close to being really, really good.

I'm sick to my fucking stomach. Another hard fought game, another loss. This is tough to take. The guys are fighting and playing their hearts out, but there's only so many people we can lose to injury and still be competitive. The reality is, right now our team is made of mostly players who were undrafted and playing only because of injury to first, second, and third string players. The fact that it was even close is a testament to the heart of our guys. In the end it wasn't enough. Seeing Peyton in the press box helpless made it even more painful. This is a nightmare season but there's nothing we can do but keep fighting.

Painter showed some promise and looked very good, overall. Too bad the injury laden offensive line couldn't protect him or run block for shit. Garcon showed his speed and the true potential he has to be an elite receiver in this league, if he could focus more and catch the ball.

Too much semen will do that. Consult Rod Stewart on home remedies.

Listen assfuck, we TOLD you this was going to happen - any half-mongoloid or smarter could see it coming from a mile away - but you kept insisting that they'd just ride Kerry Collins all the way to the November when captain cornstalk would return and save you.

You chose not to listen and kept spouting your retarded fanboy bullshit. And now you are disappointed? I do like that you are going with the "playing our hearts out" angle, as if that counts for anything when your dogshit team is 0-4.

Please go away. The Colts are done. Maybe for good. You better pray they don't manage to win any games, cause their only hope now is winning the Luck sweepstakes.

Indy's schedule for the remainder of the season:

Kansas City - one team they have a shot at if everything goes right
Cincinnati - close game but Cincy should win
New Orleans - N.O. will smoke them
Tennessee - TN's D is good. another loss.
Atlanta - Atl by at least 17 points
Jacksonville - they have a chance at this only because it's at home
Bye - at least they won't lose this week
Carolina - right now Carolina is better than them
New England - NE will run up the score as an FU to Polian
Baltimore - Balt will shut them out in a blowout
Tennessee - 0-2 vs them
Houston - Hou smells blood in the water gearing up for playoffs
Jacksonville - depends on who is closest to Luck at this point

It's hard to pick out more than 3 games they they have a shot of winning if everything goes right. It's going to be somewhere between 1-15 and 3-13, probably closer to 1-15.

They were in the last two games, both against pretty solid opposition. I could see them winning as many as 5 at this point. As a fan of a divisional rival, I sure hope so anyway. Seeing Luck drafted as the heir apparent to Manning isn't my idea of fun.

Say they beat KC, Cincy, & Jax once. Then where do they win the other 2?

I could see them being competitive with Carolina and Tennesee. They could possibly split with Titans and Jags. They're really vulnerable to teams that can run the ball, but their D is still decent against the pass. The Titans have been winning through the air, as has Carolina and Jax is almost as bad as they are right now. I'm not saying it will happen that way, but I don't think it's beyond the realm of possibility.

The question is: just how dedicated are the Colts to getting Luck?

If they are willing to tank the season, they'll probably go back to Collins once he gets healthy. With Painter they have a chance to win a few games.

I would say it would depend on what strategy they take. Some teams think that they need to go all out because 6-10 is better than 3-13, while other teams think if they have been recently competitive and have no shot for a year that there is no difference between 1-15 and 6-10 and the high draft choice is worth the bad season.

At 0-4 they have to know that even if Manning was back and ready to go next game that they are 8-4 at best from here on out and 8-8 isn't getting them into the playoffs. There is no way in hell Indy manages 4 or more wins even if they go all out every week. Polian is a snake and is certainly not above tanking games to get a draft pick if he feels it can help him for a decade after Manning hangs 'em up. And even if he doesn't want Luck he knows other teams do and that the #1 pick is valuable next April. If they don't win this week or next look for them to stop being competitive and start making strange personnel decisions.
