Haha, well, I guess it's a lock for Cena to win now as it's to defend his father's honor.sliquor wrote:They just utilized the old "stunt granny / grampa".
Warrior in the Hall Of Fame - I don't think he deserves it or appreciates it but I can understand how it's "good for business".
Why do you think Warrior doesn't deserve it? Regardless of any behind the scenes stuff that may have went on, you can't deny the guy was HUGE for the old WWF & is easily a legend in his own right.
Re: The New (Spam Free) Never Ending Wrestling Thread
From watching interviews with various insiders & Warrior himself he seems to have no respect for the business.
He did however put asses in seats & thus made Vince a lot of money.

Warrior getting into the WWEHOF is the equivalent of Kiss getting into the RNRHOF. Not the greatest but still deserving and long overdue...

And probably similar right down to the point that fans will be clamoring for Warrior to accept his award "in facepaint".
Oh yeah, and remember all those rumours that warrior died and there was a new warrior, and then wcw had that guy called renegade? Well, FUCK SCAB WARRIOR!

Man, with Warrior and Hogan likely being at Mania in some fashion, I am fucking more excited than a pig in shit to be going.
Get your tickets people and join me!
I'm hitting up the RAW the following night which is usually a good show after mania. Might have to go to the Hall of Fame too.
By the way, KW, the reason I didn't go to mania when it was in Seattle a bunch of years ago is because I was broke as a mother fucker! I was probably 19 or 20 for that mania and I probably had 5 bucks to my name

From Vancouver to New Orleans round trip, got a flight for $550. Great deal.
For hotel, me and 3 buddies are splitting a room for 4 nights. It's going to be about $150 each for that.
Wrestlemania ticket $75 and in a pretty good spot
Raw ticket is $50 I think.
Pretty reasonable I'd say overall. It will be a hell of trip

Yeah I may actually hit up that Foley show. A couple of buddies are already going.
I forgot to mention, I also have a ticket to go see the Ring of Honour show the Friday before Wrestlemania, but my other buddies are more stoked about that than I am. I love wrestling, but that might be overkill. I think I'd rather go bar hopping, but I'm sure the ROH show will pull in some decent talent that night

Bombshell, and it appears to be highly probable:
Ultimate Warrior will be inducted by Hulk Hogan. The man who he made some very personal public accusations about 18 months ago. About his exwife, his son. My jaw literally dropped. I thought I was reading a misprint.
It also appears that Jake The Snake will be involved in the HOF somehow.

Fuck yeah dude, we got our tickets right when they went on sale, pretty good seats for like $90. Still trying to get my schedule rearranged so I can catch Raw the night after. It's gonna be my first Mania, it's gonna be awesome, New Orleans is one of the most fun fuckin places you can be IMO.Royal Dudeness wrote:This is the breakdown for me:Yut343 wrote:How much you paying for all of that? Paul Bearer for HOF.
Strong class so far.
Reports are that Warrior's Legends deal is "extensive" & "lucrative".

Re: The New (Spam Free) Never Ending Wrestling Thread
So WWE just announced a house show in Waco for 3/14.
Main event is being advertised as Cena/Orton.
Last show I saw was a Smackdown last February and it was okay, but really lacked star power (save for the surprise return of Undertaker).

Talk about bad luck: DB suffered a concussion at last monday's show. He's been pulled from all upcoming live events and replaced with Big Show.

TNA isn't going anywhere, It's a huge tax write off for Panda Energy and they don't care if TNA makes a single dollar. Panda gets the write off, and it's main shareholder makes sure his daffy daughter Dixie as a ego based job.

For what it's worth:
--While a contract itself may not have been signed, and it is something that has been talked about for months, Sting in WWE is stronger than ever to the point concepts using the term "A Man Called Sting" are in discussion.

& Sting just had his TNA contract tore up.
Hmmm.......

I won't believe it until I see him standing in the ring on a WWE show. Then I still won't believe my eyes. I'm trying not to get my hopes too high, like I do every year, but it's REALLY hard not to when you read news like that.Royal Dudeness wrote:I finally decide to go to a Mania, and the likes of Lesnar, Hogan, Warrior and now Sting might be there.
