Well he's amazing that's for sure. He just toyed with Okami, I had the feeling he thought about not finishing him just to stretch the fight a little bit longer.
did you see when he knocked him down for the second time, and was softening him up, and then he started to rain down on the clown with massive punches to finish the fight.
I would love to see him fight in the LHW division. Other than Jones I can see him defeating most guys there. Silva vs Shogun would be epic.
Silva has to go somewhere because he has decimated his weight class. The only logical fight would be a rematch with Sonnen(if he can get by the Stann fight). If Stann wins, I do not see him much of a threat to Silva. He doesnt have the experience. Bones Jones vs Silva would be a great fight!

- The following $100,000 bonuses were announced for the UFC 134 event…

* KO of the Night: Antonio Rodrigo Noguera
* FIGHT of the Night Edson Barboza and Ross Pearson

There were no submissions on the card, so no submission bonus was given.

At least Pearson wasn't robbed of a bonus.

For the Pearson fight: you never want to let it go to the judges. I saw it as close enough that it could have went either way. Pearson just didn't quite do enough to win it.

I personally like Forrest Griffin, but that fight may be the one that relegates him to "fighting the old legends" status. As in, tomato can who gets the occasional surprise win. Liked seeing Nog get the win.

Yeah, there needs to be a Silva/Sonnen rematch. Sonnen is the only one who has tested him. I was just about to yell "quit taunting him and finish the fight!" when Silva quit taunting him and finished the fight.

The guy acted and fought like he didnt want to be in the ring with Silva. From the opening second- any punch he threw was weak, and when he had Silva against the cage was weak. It was almost like he was waiting for the inevitable to happen. I'm tired of all these jap fighters that are talked up to the 10th degree & get their ass handed to them. I havent seen one japanese fighter that was/is a bad ass.

Sakuraba may be over the hill but he'll always be a badass.

For some reason I believe Palhares can defeat Anderson but he probably won't get the chance unless he stops being a fucktard.

He heard Herb Dean saying something and thought he stopped the fight. And the fence grabbing...his dumbassery almost cost him another win, that was some funny shit.
But fuck it I wanna see the short and stocky Palhares against the lean and tall Silva.

I read that Palhares said he heard/saw Miller saying "stop stop". The guy brings it. I wonder if Dana White is even considering Palhares against Silva. Isnt he the guy that thought Nate Marquart was greasing, and NM flattened him? It was silly watching him celebrate last night when there was nothing to celebrate.

Yeah same guy. He's a bit basic in the brain, which is a shame because that's interfering with his performances.
That was a really stupid loss in the Nate fight.

Starting mid Sept we got weekend after weekend of some solid fights for a good six week period. I cant wait for the GSP/Diaz fight! Edgar/Maynard fight should be a winner as well!

Edgar/Maynard catches my attention

Dont care much for GSP even less for Diaz.

UFC needs to start doing open weight matches, or at least do it under Pride Grand Prix

anybody wants to catch 134 I think it's still up in dailymotion.com

Jake Shields dad passed away. Jake is still going to fight in a few weeks though. I wouldn't be able to focus on training but he's probably sticking it out because his dad would have wanted him to.

Just read that Diego Sanchez is out of the Matt Hughes fight, that sucks for Diego. He broke his hand.
Josh Koschek has twittered that he took the fight. It should be interesting.

Cool promo for the Jones Vs Jackson fight
http://sports.yahoo.com/mma/blog/cagewr ... mma-wp6485

Personally I think unless Jackson gets lucky and lands a big shot, Jones is going to smother the shit out of him, and do what he did to Shogun.

I originally read your comment as Nick being replaced by Condit at the press conference, not as in fighter. I just read about him being replaced for the fight... That sucks! What the hell is Nick thinking? Condit will bring it, but I wanted to see GSP vs Diaz!

To right this ship, Diaz should fight BJ Penn.
Rumor has it that Dana has something wild in the works.
I wonder if that's it.

I'd like to see that fight, but I don't see Dana putting Diaz back on the same card that he no showed an event for. It would, however, be a good way to stick it to Diaz by moving him a rank down the card, while not cheating the fans out of a Diaz fight. I've heard some rumors that BJ's "crazy" opponenet will be a middleweight like Wanderlei or Vitor

Vitor? That would be a good one. I'm sure he would be game since his last fight lasted what? Not even a round? I like that idea.

Wa Wa What the heck is going on? I was really bummed about not seeing Diaz V. St. Pierre - is Diaz V Penn for real? I didn't have a chance to see that Diaz clip, does he offer an explanation...never mind, will check it out when I get home.

I like Lesnar Vs. Overeem and dig Guida Vs. Henderson as well.

While at first I didn't like it, because I think with Diaz's longer reach, better boxing (IMO), his ability to work off his back, and not to mention his insane cardio, he has the best chance to beat GSP. The more I think about it, the more I realize this is the best fight for Diaz right now. Penn will actually make it an exciting fight, whereas GSP woul try to grapplefuck him for 25 minutes, so all the UFC fans that haven't seen him fight will see what he's all about. On top of that, this will be a good test to see if Diaz actually can go toe to toe with upper level Welterweight compitition, because if he can't get past BJ, he won't stand a chance against GSP. We'll probably still see Diaz vs. GSP because I don't see BJ winning this at all. If Condit manages to beat GSP, the title fight between Diaz and Condit would be epic. Who knows, we could see GSP vs. Diaz, but with a champion Diaz and challenger GSP. The Welterweight title picture is so much more exciting than it was a year ago.
