Beck's entertaining, at least he was the half-dozen or so times I've caught him. Totally batshit, unless that's just part of his act.

there was an outcry against public option, that's why they scrapped it.Ugmo wrote:You know what's funny? There is no outcry against a public option. Nearly 80 percent of the public support it. But a handful of hard-liners scuttled it.
i find it hardly that 80% supported it..
the numbers were used that many believe that there should be healthcare reform of some kind, but not the type that was being touted.
as for plastic surgery, there should be an added tax.
oh, and it should not be allowed under health insurance.
taxing tan salons instead, what a joke!!
(that's just racist, seeming only white people use those!)
granted, i see plastic surgery and reconstructive surgery as two different things.

I know this is digressing from the subject, but no way should they slam a tax on cosmetic surgery. Really, it's more or less sexist against women anyway since they make up the majority of patients.absolutely fabulous wrote:as for plastic surgery, there should be an added tax.

Tax cigarettes and gambling and booze, fine. Even tanning is a better thing to tax. But not plastic surgery.

Your mom didn't think I needed it.

If it was dirt cheap, there would be no need for a public option.
