I used to be a big Dodger fan, but since McCourt has done what he has done, especially this year, I could care less about the team. I havent watched any games, and do not intend to. It doesnt help that the team on the field sucks and is boring.
Anybody?

Re: Any Dodger Fans??
I'm a Red Sox fan first and foremost, but I've always considered the Dodgers to be my 2nd favorite team since the 70's, that is until the last few years or so. With the exception of when Manny first joined them and got them to the postseason, Dodgers games have been a complete snoozefest. A good game will be a boring pitcher's duel, or them just losing. Their tickets, parking, and beer got really expensive too. If you want a seat that you can hear the ball get hit, you're gonna pay, and you can't move down those levels.
Since I'm a Sox fan, I go see them play the Angels every time they come out. Over the years, I've actually grown to like the Angels. Nice ballpark, way better looking chicks, you won't get mowed down by an uzi if you're wearing an opposing teams jersey, reasonable parking and traffic, the ballpark staff is always friendly and treat my kids well, and it's easy to move down to the good seats. The Angels also consistently have an offense that have more pop. More home runs, stolen bases, etc... translates into a more interesting game to watch. I also like going to see them when they play the Yankees and beat their asses.

Orel was the man. His 1988 year was one the best years ever for a pitcher.
I bleed Dodger blue, I hope they get this ownership shit figured out.

That was the golden age of the Los Angeles Dodgers that made me a fan as a kid. Too bad they haven't been that good since and it doesn't look like they'll be this interesting again anytime soon.

Re: Any Dodger Fans??
They are such a painful team to watch these days. How many years are they going to go with Either/Kemp/Looney as their core 3? Either is a chump(flipping off a photographer), Kemp is a basketcase, and Looney forgot how to hit. This "going with the young guys" only worked when Manny was carrying the load. I havent watched a game all season.David_Lee_Halen wrote:UtahRatt wrote:Been a fan since I was a kid.
