yes, it's plugs. But technology has gotten better, so it's more individual hairs transplanted, instead of plugs now.
Not sure who "made" him do it. But it's rare to just be a balding dork on stage in a metal band. Either shave it all off like Rob, Kerry King or Soctt Ian, or wig/transplant it up. He looked every bit the "behind the scenes producer" up there.

I saw them when Priest went out with Saxon a few years ago and one of my first thoughts was that Sneap looked ridiculous. Like a balding accountant hopped onstage in Priest gear to be funny.

It takes a year for the transplanted hair to start really growing and with his level of baldness I'd assume he needs at least three session......So you're already looking at 3 years to get hair and then it still needs to grow long.
Have they been away over 3-4 years?

With the old technique, yes.
There is a new technique where you don't need to shave your hair. They can now collect the follicles from the back of your head and then inject them into the bald parts instead of having to shave the head, carve little cuts in your skin and implant the hair.

Still kind of pondering the 6k-12k price tag....
Did my eyes last year, will never need glasses again and that cost more than 8k, but in hindsight was worth every penny...

This isn’t new guys, I remember posting something about his transplant six months ago. He’s had it for a while. He was rocking it at Powertrip Festival Oct 23.

And checking setlist.org the last show they played before that was Dec 2022. So there’s more than enough time there to get some follicular assistance and grow it out.

Diagree. Compare his head to Faulkners'. Richie has a full head of hair in the front. Sneapy has just a bit in the front area now.

It's the way that wig wearers give themselves away. They go from balding to the thickest front imaginable. Kevin Dubrow, Ian Hill, Ace Frehley.... they all have way too much hair in the front. Sneap went from having none up top to about 40% up top - Transplant. Unlike Ace who now has 300% on top.
