VH Tribute

Post by Michael Hotts Ghost »

Tripped across this Van Halen tribute last night... not the worst out there. Singer sounds like a serviceable DLR. The Michael Anthony does ok on the backups although it could be backing tracks. Eddies wig is comical. Aged out Alex on drums. What do you guys think?

ive played with those guys a bunch of times. The last time, i broke a bass string and it was the only time I didnt bring a backup bass. I ran backstage to ask their Mike if I could borrow his bass, but he wasnt there. So I decided that I'd ask for forgiveness later and grabbed. Luckily I realized it wouldnt be in the right key and quickly tunes it. It was all up high like John 5, but I finished the show.

When he came back, I told him I nabbed it, and he was cool about it, which was cool. I told him id tuned it back. They're all nice guys.
