My first time seeing "The Mars Vola drummer hears RUSH for the first time"

The one that started it all. Spreading gossip and insults since 1998.

My first time seeing "The Mars Vola drummer hears RUSH for the first time"

I'm sure this has been posted before (six months old) but I thought it was neat:

My favorite thing about drumming is that it's math--fitting however many beats in a specific length of time, a universal constant--but every great drummer has a very specific style. Totally wild end result here! Love her playing.

I enjoy all of them.

One phenomenon you see consistently is that counterintuitively they usually tend to overplay a lot, just because they A) don't know the songs so they're not thinking in terms of "fitting in with the song" and B) they're just thinking about finding things to play.

She's probably the biggest example of it, and you can tell she realizes it when they play the song back. It's a lot of fun to watch. She's great.
