[Offensive lineman Uche] Nwaneri posted on the Jaguars’ Web site that, while cashing a check, a bank teller started talking about how Tebow will save the Jaguars.
So Nwaneri posted his five points on Tebow, with capital letters:
"1. He can't throw, PERIOD.
2. He can't read any coverage other than probably cover 2 or man.
3. The QB Wildcat WILL NOT WORK IN THIS LEAGUE. PERIOD.
4. He doesn’t know how to take a snap from center.
5. HE CAN’T THROW, and that’s really something you either have or not."
They love that dude in Florida. It probably won't last long as soon as he shows how ineffective he'll be in the NFL, but the Jags would sell tickets by signing him and they need that right now more than anything. I'd be shocked if he didn't go there, but they'll be able to pick him up later. His awful Senior Bowl performance pretty much sealed that deal. Who else wants him? I wonder if his clipboard will match his eyeblack?

There might be a slight bump in sales, but I doubt it will be a franchise saving amount, especially with how bad they are picking him apart before the draft.

Oh I agree. Tebow will be holding his clipboard and trying to convert all those west coast heathens in LA sometime soon.
He's got God on his side dude. He doesn't have to be able to throw. He'll just kind of lob it up there and a flock of angels will come down and carry it to the recievers.
I hope he does get signed, gets to experience the pro athlete lifestyle of money, drugs and sluts everywhere. He will be the 2010 version of Todd Marinovich, let the downfall into sin begin
Jani Lane and Bret Michaels should form a band called "Nelson II"
Florida QB's all fail in the NFL. Tim Tebow is a good "system" QB with a bunch of media coverage because of his religious background and a good coach. Chris Leak didn't do jack shit in the NFL.

Chris Leak was also only 5'10 and wasn't even a very good college QB.
Not really a very good comparison.
Rex Grossman could have been good. Alas, he went to Chicago, the QB graveyard, and he was forever ruined, much like Jake Plummer was ruined from spending so many years in Arizona.
None of this draft talks means anything until our resident NFL expert, P13 weighs in.

I see Tebow getting drafted no earlier than round 3, at best. And I can see a team wanting to convert him to a tight end or WR, like the Pats have done with Julian Edelman who never played wide receiver in his life til he went to the Pats.
