Faster(2010) with the Rock , billy bob thornton, carla gugino pretty good straight on action flick with the usual plot of a guy coming out of jail and going on a killing spree to avenged the death of his brother.
7.5/10

Insidious - 7/10. Lived up to the hype since I wouldn't have seen it otherwise... Would have rated higher if the last half of the movie wasn't so freaking dark and I could have seen what the fuck was going on... Also, did the other two kids just go to a babysitter or something during the exorcism?

The Town. 8 out of 10. Basically it's 'Heat' meets 'Point Break'. Ben Affleck wasn't too annoying in it, which is actually a huge credit to this movie.
Re: Rate the last movie you saw
The Lincoln Lawyer WAS really good. And he was REALLY hot in it.
Watched Horrible Bosses. I thought it was hilarious. Jennifer Aniston (spelling?) was a riot.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2
9.5 / 10
Great way to end the series. Very sad and heartbreaking in some parts, but nice to see the good guys triumph over the bad guys.

Rango - 4/5. Totally my kind of humor in a cartoon. To all of the comic book geeks who read these boards; This will be the closest to an Ambush Bug movie we will ever get. Rango is Ambush Bug.

I'm sick at home and have way too much time for dumb mediocre movies: Zoolander, Saw VI, A Night at the Roxbury, How Do You Know. The latter had at least some decent performances by Rudd and Nicholson, but it was all 5-ish.

Anvil!: 8/10. As good as I'd hoped; much better than I expected. Didn't know DJ Will was in it.
Naked Ambition: An R-rated Look at the X Rated Industry - 8/10. Surprisingly interesting. Nothing bad to say about this flick at all.
Captain America: 4/10 I'm really not trying to be a contrarian here, but....what the fuck? This movie bored me shitless.
If you want to make a period piece, make a fucking period piece! Don't make half of your props out of easily recognizable, modern materials. Write your dialogue as people from the era would have recited it. Write your characters like they exist in the 19-fucking-40's! I mean for gawdsakes: there's an (enlisted) woman who, within 30 seconds of meeting Cap (a commissioned officer) for the very first time, is grabbing him at her duty station and kissing him passionately...for the sole purpose of throwing a wrench into a blossoming love interest.
For fuck's sake.
Then you've got Cap's team: curiously multi-ethnic for a time period that was heavily segregated.
And to top it off, and the whole "I must hav zis veapun uv incredible pow-ah!" plot is straight outta Flash Gordon, and never once gives the audience (well, ME, anyway) a real sense of danger or urgency.
Shit like this is just lazy, retarded pablum. Marvel's got in a formula it won't deviate from and it's getting pretty tedious.

The Crying Game. I haven't watched this since I had to do a paper on it for a gay/lesbian/transgender studies class in college - still good. I think it's why I still hate Miranda Richardson to this day. 9/10.

When in the proper mood, this movie cracks you up.
When not, it's just stupid.
