I don't know about the backgrounds of the others, but Manziel I don't think really gives a fuck about making a living in the NFL.Machado wrote:Does this list of former NFL QB's have a common denominator?

Indeed they do. All busts in the NFL. All failed to live up to expectations but also were never NFL material. Just good college QB's who felt the NFL owed them a living.

Then I read he orders "red bull and vodka"
Talk about being unoriginal and not knowing how to drink like an adult. That NFL career is in the rear view!!!

Well, I guess Philly is all in on a QB this year.

They're adding depth at the position like it's the D-Line. They're giving up everything for QB's in what seems to be a horrible QB draft. I'm not sold on Goff or Wentz but they're definitely not worth anything close to the price they're paying and that's just the drafting price.
Then Philly don't have "A" guy, saying they're fine with either....I hope that's a ploy, normally you give up all those pic's for a player you want bad. Not just being COOL with whatever one is left when they pick.

He's a damn good CB, but not worth what the 'Skins just shelled out.
That said, I would've loved to hold on to him for one more year under the franchise tag, just for another playoff push.

I don't care what the Skins paid for him... I hope they get in salary cap hell..
I am pissed that Dallas and Romo have to face him twice a fuckin season now.

I'm sure ESPN and their ilk won't hype up Norman vs OBJ twice a year at all
Re: The NFL Thread
every single website is promoting the draft by having their very own mock drafts. seems like this trend
has been going on for months and months. so much so that i thought the draft was beginning last week.
S.O.B.
still a few more days until the draft beings. hurry up and get this over with already. UNREAL build up
these days with social media, the internet and so called draft experts.

ask yourself why he would do that besides the obvious-brady had information on that phone that was damaging to either himself or the Pats organization.
get rid of phone, destroy the phone, etc...nobody finds out exactly what Brady did in this case.

just do the math. add up a pieces. common sense says Brady is guilty, so he destroyed
the phone. why destroy your phone? does he have a habit of destroying phones? i think not.
he might as well tossed the murder weapon into the lake

He was never charged with (or accused of committing) a "crime."
You go ahead and explain this "crime" along with the statute number.
Take your time.

Brady failed to cooperate. Brady destroyed his phone. Of course he was not accused of a crime. Ever heard of a backroom deal?
Everybody here saves face. The golden boy retains his image and is only guilty of destroying his phone. Which is not very
environmentally friendly

Should he have sold it on ebay or CL instead?
The term "crime" was misused by you.
You can't spin it into something it never was.

I would never give my employer my private phone in the case of a workplace investigation. Only if the police came to me with a warrant (ie as part of an actual criminal investigation, not a breach of workplace discipline) would I do anything short of telling them to fuck off.

Re: The NFL Thread
1) Tom Brady has never been accused of a criminal act, he's been accused of breaking an NFL rule.Machado wrote:you want me to walk you through the crime he is guilty of? no thanks. i won't do that.cantstopthemusic wrote:

2) There could be any number of other personal or business things on the phone that had nothing to do with deflating footballs but which he dism't want strangers or the NFL seeing.

NFL Draft 2016 begins today
Biggest winners/losers to be declared 5 seconds after the pick. Not years later because
the experts are always correct, LOL!!!

First off, they looked at every phone on the staff he would have sent a text too.
Secondly, he bought a new phone and got rid of the old after he was questioned.
Third, if some crook like Goodell wanted my phone I'd tell him to fuck off. Him or anyone, without a court order you're not seeing the shit on my phone. Nude animal pictures and personal conversations, it don't prove guilt. My phone is my personal shit I'm not giving it to anyone, it has nothing to do with guilt. More like protection of my privacy act.
Fuck Goodell, Like machado would just hand his phone over. This shit is so trivial it's an ego quest for Goodell since the judge pulled the suspension. The Pat's got fucked enough.
If he's on Brady about his phone, how come Goodell destroyed and didn't release the PSI data taken last year? Because it proved Goodell was wrong.
