Jackass Forever 4/10
This movie . . . where do I begin?
Shocked at how much animal cruelty was in this. Really guys? Leave the fucking animals out of your stupid stunts, umkay.
And they all looked bored to death. Almost like they were there just to get a paycheck. Yes, two of the crew are missing, Bam and Ryan, and it clearly shows they don't function well when the family is not complete.
I did like the new Jackass members though. But they've got a lot of work to do if they are going to be as popular as the originals.

Drive My Car - 9/10
A few scenes a little too drawn out, the only reason not a 10/10.

"Spielberg" - 8/10
This is the Spielberg movies of Spielberg documentaries. It's great and totally the documentary about Spielberg you would expect to see.
"Thirteen Lives" - 9/10
Amazing movie. Ron Howard isn't always on, but this is him at his best. Great cast, great writing, very detailed. A very tense and compassionate look at these events.

10/10 if Kubrick had padded the boot camp story and ended the film with Leonard blowing his own brains out instead of dragging things out for another hour..

Yeah, but then we'd live in a world without 2 Live Crew's "Me So Horny" and what would be the point of that?

Finally saw "The Batman" .....meh..... not bad, but nothing new. And for being way too long (3 hours), it was pretty shallow.

Same. Elvis. I'm not a fan of Baz Lurhmann's style, and I did not Tom Hanks in his role for some reason (too cartoonish maybe). Austin Butler deserves the accolades he's receiving. Butler gets a 10/10. The movie gets a 7/10.

Northman 6/10...... the TV shows Vikings and The Last Kingdom were both way more compelling. Visually the movie looked great, and although I wasn't bored with the story, I also didn't really care what happened. IMO, the main character Amleth was the weak link, Skarsgard's performance/character was uneven either due to the writing or directing or his acting ability.

Sisu - 8 Nazi Legs Blown Off / 10
With my wife being Finnish, had to go see this. Basically the modern day Rambo with a little humor thrown in. I'm not a blood and guts kinda guy, however, enjoyed it and had a few LOL moments of what they came up with. Dude just wanted to get his gold to the bank.

The Pale Blue Eye (2022) Christian Bale, Murder Mystery set in 1830's.
5/10, the movie looks good and I like Christian Bale, but it's too long (2hr, 8min) and boring.
The people murdered are essentially 1800's Frat Boys (so I didn't care) and the last minute plot twist is based on a character that had almost no screen time/backstory (so it has zero impact).

The Flash 9/10 - Absolutely loved it. Michael Keaton will always be the best Batman and the various DC cameos were fantastic.
