My guess is when Pophouse bought KISS (catalog, images, IP) it did not include rights to any members but Paul & Gene. For a release with limited commercial appeal, why pay more to make it happen?

Vinnie and St John were not on any pics of their The Live Off The Soundboard releases and on recent merchandise like Animalize merchandise ie t-shirts,buttons....St John was nowhere to be found. I mean let's be real Gene and Paul stopped caring about their fans a long time ago so if you are them why pay any ex member if you don't have too? It's like in the 80's especially in The Exposed video all Gene and Paul would do is shit on Ace and Peter but at the same time knowing that's where the money is most of what they talked about was Ace and Peter and when the time was right they had ZERO problem getting rid of Bruce and Eric for The Reunion dollars.

For some reason Bruce Kulick is the highest in the mix for the backing vocals.

This really is just Animalize Live with two different songs swapped out. The raps are basically the same, Gene’s solo is the same, haven’t listened to Paul’s solo but I’d be surprised if it was different.

They did have a big fuckup during the intro to RNRAN, that was pretty funny. Paul goes into a singalong thing to try to cover it and they restart it.

Nah, the original 2000 Alive 4 is way worse. And at least this is actually live. Just a shame about the setlist being so lame.
