Re: Will Ozzy survive to see his final show?
I was kind of surprised to not see Zakks name on the list, but then I remembered he will be there with Pantera. So will he only do Pantera or will he do an appearance with Ozzy as well??? You would think they would milk his name if he was going to perform with Ozzy.
Ozzy should come down from the rafters like he did on the Ultimate Ozzy tour. It was impressive when the arms opened up and there was Ozzy frozen. There was a big explosion and then he came to life except this time he will just stay in the chair and do his set. They could crane him from side to side when needed. It would actually be kind of cool.

I hope all the fans that go have a good time and know exactly what they're going for, and I do feel a little bad that he couldn't go out on his own terms, but GOD DAMN, I don't want to see two seconds of this.
To be told you will not get any credit for writing the entire Bark at the moon album nor will you be paid for it after the album is finished is disgraceful. Saying if you don't agree we will fire you and just wipe your work and have another guitar player just copy your work.

I don’t think he does. Just reading Iommi’s book where they tried to do a Sabbath album in the early 2000s and he would show up late, go off to make a cup of tea and be gone an hour, go back into the wrong studio and fall asleep and everyone thought he went home etc … and this is a decade after he got off booze and drugs.

Re: Will Ozzy survive to see his final show?
Ozzy will be helped into a revolving chair facing away from the crowd to start the show. Chair will rotate as the music starts and a fuck ton of smoke will fill the stage and he will appear to be singing. Of course, the 2-3 songs Ozzy does will be 90% tracked outside of his live mic barking “Make some fucking noise” as the smoke hides his every move in the chair.
There is no way in hell Ozzy does a 10-12 song set, walking the stage.

Halestorm is listed as a main band, and then Lizzy hale is listed as one of the guest performers.... but Zakk isnt. So at least for now, seems like he's not, but I cant imagine he wouldnt. If he played with Ozzy at a freaking Rams game and the HOF, i think he'd do the final show.Michael Hotts Ghost wrote: ↑Tue Feb 18, 2025 2:05 am So will he only do Pantera or will he do an appearance with Ozzy as well??? Now? Yeah, for sure. I guess the question is, at what point did he really lose his faculties? He's been BEYOND depressing to listen to with the show that he does on the Boneyard, to the point where I don't know how he's not in an assisted living facility.BernieTaupson wrote: ↑Tue Feb 18, 2025 3:18 pm I don’t think he does. I know we joke about it, but I honestly think that Sharon has controlled every single thing he's done from a business perspective since 1980, and it's altogether possible that either things were legitimately done without his knowledge, and they just told him "Sign here", or if he did know about them, he wasn't coherent at the time to realize what was really going on. Like, do you think THE OSBOURNES was his idea? Fuck no, it was Sharon all the way, and Ozzy went along with it because he didn't want to cross the boss.
And to be clear, as stated, I don't think he's a saint, and it's completely possible that he knowingly treated all the guys poorly. I just think it's near impossible to know how much he was sober for, how much he was incapacitated for or did when he was drunk or high, and how much was done by Sharon and he was willfully ignorant of.
Honestly, if I was a conspiracy theorist, I would say that he wasn't in control until he got "sober" around 1988, and then after a few years of being lucid, Sharon didn't like Ozzy being able to think for himself, so all of a sudden, Ozzy gets misdiagnosed with MS due to being loaded up on drugs, and Zakk, who knew "sober" Ozzy, gets banished as to not ask too many questions and conflict with Sharon's decision making.

I think they'd have to have him get up there for at least one song, BUT, it IS a Black Sabbath show, after all, not Ozzy solo. You got to figure that Tony is calling at least some of the shots about who's playing what.HueyRamone wrote: ↑Tue Feb 18, 2025 3:40 pmHalestorm is listed as a main band, and then Lizzy hale is listed as one of the guest performers.... but Zakk isnt. I forget who it was now but I remember seeing an interview with someone who knew Sharon pre-Osbournes and they said her number one goal was to be famous herself one day.

I would imagine it will be more like what he did with the Throne at Ozzfest 2000Michael Hotts Ghost wrote: ↑Tue Feb 18, 2025 2:05 am I was kind of surprised to not see Zakks name on the list, but then I remembered he will be there with Pantera. It looks like it's both a Black Sabbath show AND an Ozzy solo show. Both are on the list of performers. That's a lot of Ozzy if he's gonna just be weekend at bernie-ing and people doing his material while he watches...Anthrax442 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 18, 2025 4:33 pm BUT, it IS a Black Sabbath show, after all, not Ozzy solo. Re: Will Ozzy survive to see his final show?
Good point, I forgot he had a separate call out on the lineup. My guess is still two solo songs, two BS songs. Crazy Train and Bark at the Moon, and then Paranoid and Iron Man.HueyRamone wrote: ↑Wed Feb 19, 2025 8:06 amIt looks like it's both a Black Sabbath show AND an Ozzy solo show. Zakk plays Crazy Train, Jake plays Bark at the Moon. Unless Jake still gets screwed, and he plays Bark with one of the other singers and not Ozzy.

Ozzy can always ad Dee to his set. That would be easy for him, a first in his setlist, and stretch it out an extra minute!

My guess they'll have Ozzy propped up on his throne and cycle through different singers for the Ozzy/Sabbath songs while Ozzy sings a line here and there.

I agree!CanadianMetal wrote: ↑Sun Feb 16, 2025 3:03 pm It will be a fantastic celebration of Sabbath, regardless of how much Ozzy can or can’t participate.
He is a legend. Having provided millions with so many iconic albums, songs and performances over so many decades , Ozzy has nothing left to prove, no what all the negative Nancy’s may say.
I've seen Ozzy probably 10 times since the early 80's, mostly Ozzfest shows. He's always fantastic! I don't know if it's backing tracks or whatever, and I don't care, but he always sounds like Ozzy live.
I saw Black Sabbath at The Hollywood Bowl in September, 2016, it was awesome!
I saw Ozzy last at Ozzfest, New Years Eve, 2018 at The Forum. The line up was insane!
Body Count
Jonathan Davis
Marilyn Manson
Rob Zombie
Ozzy Osbourne
Before the show started, there were bands in the parking lot. It was a good time!

I'm sure Sharon and everybody else behind this thing are desperately hoping Ozzy will hold out long enough to be there because if he does, they can do another one when he dies.
Ronnie James Dio would look and sound better than Ozzy at this point.
