My turn, DDM! Of course, I intentionally left out those already mentioned in his threads. I had to leave out a few good ones, so maybe those will come on the next poll...

Def Leppard Love Bites because it reminds me of the time I was 10 years old and my 16 year old babysitter let me touch her boobs!

I don't know. Almost all these bands have better power ballads in their catalog.
"Love Bites" is a classic. Mutt Lange perfection. I've come to appreciate "Heading for a Heartbreak" more over time. It's a little unconventional for a "hair band." I'm going to vote for "Anytime," since that one deserved more attention. MSG is a bad name for a band. Makes me think of Madison Square Garden. Or Chinese food.

This. Guess with two egos like McAuley and Schenker you couldn't call the band anything else.Mister Freeze wrote: ↑Mon Oct 28, 2024 7:06 am I'm going to vote for "Anytime," since that one deserved more attention. I've never enjoyed FP's music. Poison's was simultaneously the high point of hair metal and the joke that marked its decline. I'll never forget Kerrang!'s review of Fly To The Angels: "shit sandwich". Leppard is a classic but like a lot of that album it's at least a minute too long and eventually gets boring. EZN might be a stupidly-named / -dressed band but they got it just right on 2 songs, one of which is Michelle. Never heard the rest.

Kix. Great song.
Love bites is also a well crafted and very good song. Little burnt out on that whole Hysteria album though.
Never card for Heaven that much. Warrant have about half a dozen ballads better than this one.
Same situation with Every rose and poison.
