I just watched the Wildside clip from Vince's show a few days ago. NO WAY will that guy be around in a couple years. Jesus. And Motley is going to go out and do shows? Nikki is good with that? I get a paycheck it a paycheck but no way are they not embarrassed with a performance like that. And I was a massive fan when I was 16 during the Shout years.

Possible "traditional" health issues aside, he looks totally on something. Anti-depressants, alcohol, IDK. He appears half-asleep, mumbling, off key. This has to be more than health.

If the past few decades are any indication, they are not embarrassed in the slightest.

Prior to his med issue, not as slow, seems more on point, My guess is, he had a stroke of some sort?

His eyes are different, moves different, no energy … it does appear something neurological because if it’d been a heart attack he’d lost 100 pounds, he’d been in cardiac rehab during the last year and he’d be in pretty good shape by now.
BUT liver disease can also cause neurological symptoms too … so who the F knows … could’ve been Covid.

We're getting close to the "tapes" phase of Artists who Shouldn't Be Out There Syndrome.

He’d have to be on a shit ton. I take 1mg of Klonopin a day for a chronic neuropathy issue (yes, they are used for other things besides anxiety - which is also helpful for me) and it does nothing in terms of making me tired or zombie-ing me out. Plenty of energy. That’s double digit mg effects with Vince.

I was watching some of that video wondering who the fuck goes to these shit shows?? It looks like a hospice benefit. Let it go, find a new drug.

Bret actually stated that Vince (like himself had) is dealing with some kind of brain issue.....so its probably a stroke that happened.
Hes getting out there as is because I believe he's being pressured by Nikki to do the residency

It occurred to me today--I don't know why I think about this stuff, I got a busy mind and a boring job--that people aren't paying to see a rock band. They're paying to see the band from
The Dirt in person and to make the illusion complete, those men have to perform music on stage.
Now, I'm not saying there's this enormous demand from the movie, or even really the book. It's "Hon, let's go see Motley Crue while we're in Vegas and dress up like 80's rockers for a night and stick out our tongues for Instagram photos."
They know this and that's why half the guys on stage put in ZERO effort. Why would they? Why would Vince ever stop drinking if the paycheck's the exact same either way?
And I honestly think Nikki's justification is "The Sex Pistols were also a terrible live band." That makes me so nuts I can't even describe it. That thing I just made up.

Motley Crue as a "live band" has been a lethargic shit show for well over a decade, it's not like the latest with Vince is a dramatic overall decline.

Ok Vince did 3 shows in 3 days … the 3rd show while not great was much better than the first.
No doubt it was a stroke, at the beginning of Dr.Feelgood you can see his mouth moving like a person that has had a stroke … good for him for getting back out there and not giving up.

Yeah it’s baffling to me. People don’t care who’s in the band, if there’s any original members left, if it’s a 100% cover band like Lynyrd Skynyrd or Foreigner, if they’re singing or mumbling, if they’re lip syncing to backing tracks, if the keys are dropped 2 steps….they just keep buying tickets so that’s why this shit will never stop

Wow! If I had to choose who is worse live, Vince or Don, it would be toss up. You can tell that Vince's band is working extra hard to bring the energy since Vince clearly can't/won't.

The third show is better stop watching the first, it was an anomaly.
I guess he could’ve had an aneurysm … something like that .. whatever it was he’s lucky to be alive like Bret.

100% not normal, his eyes are different, it's like he is looking into the horizon, gone

I watched the whole clip from last night. And it wasn’t that horrible. There has definitely been worse performances than that.

I felt the same, its like he is concentrating now, his voice cracks here and there but he is singing "better" than before, like he is making a concious effort now unlike before.
When he talks about his medical procedure, his voice reminded be of Jailhouse Rock Live on Girls CD. He still has the voice.
