This is cool interview, I'd never seen it. Respect Joey's humility here, he's not afraid of credit where it's due.

HOWEVER, it's a little Milli Vanilli. Not trying to shit on guys for decisions that weren't even theirs from 35 years ago, but it had to feel a little weird to pose for magazines behind guitars--sometimes for guitar magazines--when you didn't play much of the lead guitar on the record.

It's pop metal though, it was all smoke and mirrors. I ain't mad at cha, Joey Allen.

Also, yes, he crushed Biden.

But Biden is maybe the only person he actually can beat in a debate. Literally ANYONE ELSE--Marq Torien, Danny Bonaduce, Hawk Tuah--would've crushed him. He's a really dumb guy and extremely piss-poor at speaking off-the-cuff.

So yeah, put him next to someone with room temp oatmeal for a brain, he'll look pretty good.

I can't imagine having a politician and former President in my thoughts on a daily basis

It's so funny to me that we're going on 10 years of this only applying to the people who dislike Trump, not the people who compare him to Jesus.

From my POV, there are plenty of reasons to dislike him. You'd probably agree with most of them.

There are zero reasons to compare him to Jesus.

And yet, the people who dislike him are the ones who are DERANGED and OBSESSED.

Also funny: We were a SLIGHT BREEZE away from the country descending into absolute chaos yesterday and we're still doing the "lol Trump derangement" routine.

And what's your place going to be in the middle of this chaos? Everyone thinks they're going to be Duke Nukem but I promise, some of y'all are going to be in these buildings when your new Tim McVeighs decide to boot up. Or it'll be your wife, or God forbid, one of your kids. Everyone thinks they're gearing up for Civil War 2, but there's no AR-15 in the world that can compete with a van loaded with explosives. (Think Northern Ireland 60's-90's but for a guy who was in a Pizza Hut commercial.)

So me, I think it's a more interesting conversation than John 5 looking out of place on stage with Motley Crue.

When can we talk about Trump exactly? Because apparently we can't even talk about him after his head was almost liberated from the rest of his body.

The second one, I had smoking Beat for a long time.

Why do you even want to quit smoking? It feels amazing. There's nothing like sitting after a meal, or after a long shift, and lighting up that first cigarette. That first pull--what a feeling of relief. Like an itch you've been waiting hours to scratch. Almost heavenly.

Studies are now saying cigarettes have NO ill effects on the health; I'm surprised you didn't know that. So what's the point of torturing yourself? Just smoke. It feels great, and looks badass.

I don't think there's any better feeling than a beer on the porch, watching the sun go down, enjoying a nice Marlboro. Ahhh. Not ALMOST heavenly--it is Heaven.
