Ever Buy Snake Oil?

Post by tym »

You know that thing that makes this or that claim, and you thought it would really do it but it was just snake oil. Or maybe something you were sure was a scam or snake oil only to find out you were really wrong?

The two things I bought that come to mind was One was Met Wrench. A wrench Set that fits both Standard And Metric. I was pretty sure there was no way it worked. Turns out I was wrong. I have had them for many yeas and have done amazing. I wouldn't wanna tear down an engine with them, but for every day simple stuff. Pretty handy.

The second one, I had smoking Beat for a long time. I dont know why, but my dumb ass started again. I have seen this stuff before, its like a Plant Based over the Counter Pill that helps you stop smoking. Its been around forever, and in allot of places around the world, you can buy it allot of places. Just cant in america. I thought for sure, there is no way. I was WRONG. Shit works better than chantex. Made not smoking so painless. Even had a smoker friend try it with the same results. Shit should be all over in America.

If you know a Smoker who struggles with Trying to quit, Its called Recigar, you can buy it on amazon. Its like 30 bucks for a full course to stop. Im just still Shocked how amazing that shit worked.
I'm finding it difficult to masturbate to this. I'm trying, I just have so little to work with...

When I was a kid/young adult, I wasted a ton of money on bullshit supplements when I was trying to build muscle. Definitely some shit on the snake oil category.

No, but I've been suckered into impulse buys from internet ads for shit that looks great and turns out to be junk. I've also gotten some decent stuff via internet ads.

You still don't have it beat. You're going to fail this time too.

Why do you even want to quit smoking? It feels amazing. There's nothing like sitting after a meal, or after a long shift, and lighting up that first cigarette. That first pull--what a feeling of relief. Like an itch you've been waiting hours to scratch. Almost heavenly.

Studies are now saying cigarettes have NO ill effects on the health; I'm surprised you didn't know that. So what's the point of torturing yourself? Just smoke. It feels great, and looks badass.

I don't think there's any better feeling than a beer on the porch, watching the sun go down, enjoying a nice Marlboro. Ahhh. Not ALMOST heavenly--it is Heaven.

Vinyl probably. If an album on vinyl sounds better than the same cd it's because the cd is badly mastered, not because the format is worse.

Example: Zeppelin. The early vinyls were in a different league than the shrill, shoddy 1990s remasters. The latest batch sounds better on cd than any vinyl version. LZIV takes time getting used to but it is great, you're just not used to hearing any bottom end after 50 years.
