And the crowd looks like they hate us, huh?

Actually they all look to be laughing. If I didn't know better I would say they just finished reading this thread. Wait! OK...the guy in the front is either embarrassed that his picture is being taken at a Lovin' Kry show or either he is taking his shirt off to pose with his super sweet hot rod. Which is it Rev?

Actually, the scene was better then.
2000 marks the "original club scene in New England?"

It's not like Boston is a major college town or anything. I guess it took a while for rock and roll to make it to that market.
Marks it? No. That's just you being a dink.

Was 2000 a bad time for rock in Boston?
Not if you were Hootie and the Blowfish rock, no.

But I thought you were Mr. bigshot on the scene, dude? What happened? All of the sudden you are ignorant to the original rock scene facts? Tell me... When did Mamakins throw in the rock & roll towel, close down and sell out to the dance club, Axis, shitheel?

Was the Station sold in 2000? Oops! Yup!

How did the Strand handle it? Oops! Closed!

Shall I continue the list of club closings? C'mon! Tell us all about the awesome original rock scene in the area during that time, hero. Or is your selective memory about to kick in again?

Just a little FYI-

First off. Mama Kin was a music hall that booked all kinds of music, not just rock.

The Station was sold because the owner of the couldn't keep up the terms of his lease and the owner of the land booted him.

Clubs open and close all the time. I guess the rock scene was over once The Channel or Spit closed too?

Most places loose their lease or the building they are in get bought out from under them MAN-Ray, Narcissus, (whish Im sure was a personal favorite of yours). The Palace, ETC.

There are plenty of places still opened that book bands.

The rock scene didn't die- they just stopped booking posuer bands like yours. It was over for you. Not rock. I know its hard to separate the two in you pea brain and your Axl Rose size ego, but the music scene has always been a live and well in Boston.

Interesting. In your interview, it's stated that the Dederian bros. gave your band permission to use pyrotechnics in the Station. In your sworn testimony, you state you never had any contact with the Station's management concerning pyrotechnic displays. Did you tell Fox your band had permission or did Fox lie?

"Welcome to the original club scene in New England."

BWAAHAHAHAHAAA!!

All you're saying is that even in the smallest market (Rhode Island) of the Americas and with zero competition, you STILL couldn't get paid!

Don't get me wrong, Rev-Tard. I have no doubt that you are a very stupid individual. But don't let that fool you into believing that anyone here thinks for a second that you actually believe your own bullshit.

"The station didn't pay any original, local acts... Only nationals, but you knew that because you are so in tune with the scene, man! "

HAHAHA!! More Rev-Speak.

Club owners and promoters alike have never nor will ever change.
They have always and will always PAY bands that draw.

The flip side is that they have never nor will ever PAY bands that don't.

Like yours.

In the mid 90's a friend of mine's local band in Dallas was getting PAID more than Green Day, Ian Astbury and others for playing the exact same club. Why? 'Cause they drew more people you stupid fuck.

Now that's the jealous attitude I'm talking about.

Oh yeah- playing for free. Yeah - color me green with envy.

Nobody said we had trouble getting gigs, dumbass. We sure didn't, obviously. We played a lot, in every club available. You saw us! The trouble was that the clubs were dumps that just didn't pay local original acts. I believe "shitholes" was a term used.

The way you were crying about how the rock scene was so bad you sound like a a guy that lost his assless chaps and hairspray.
Um--- where was it a said I saw you play? Never. I did meet your singer. You may have been there, but I'm sorry you didn't stand out. Most clubs are shitholes. But if a band isn't getting paid, a moneky playing the spoons can get a gig every night of the week. Doesn' mean he's good, just cheap.

Suddenly now that your agenda has shifted, you no longer stand by the statement that the clubs I played were shitholes? How so very weak-spined of you!

You just make shit up. Yeah- I do- See above. Wrong again!

How about this... Since you want to come off like you know this scene better than I, go ahead and list for me all the clubs that NOW pay local original acts, or paid them back then. Tell me Bill's bar so I can laugh, and that's one of the premier rock clubs left. Tell me the Middle East so I can own you. Go ahead. I'll be over here waiting.

Bands with local followings that are consistant and can fill a room do get paid. Sorry. When you get there you might experience that. Middle East does, Obrien's does. If you are a headliner local band with a following, Bill's does. Jack and Cathy down at Lupo's are fair to good local bands. If you are stupid enough to always play for free, why should they pay you? You are a dope.

Should be easy, right know-it-all.

Yes.

I said we ALWAYS asked, ever since we got kicked out of the Livingroom for not asking. Catch up. Pay attention, schoolchild. I don't want to keep having to repeat myself and if you're going to keep interrupting the rest of the class by repeating the same shit over and over again, I'm going to have to send you to Special Ed.

And no, I PERSONALLY did not ever deal with the pyro in any way, shape or manner. The singer or the stage manager did it.

And FOX news made more than one error, including the error where they said we played 15 times in the year 2000. Shit happens. Learn to weed through it.

You all caught up now, dunce?
You're the one who put it up to 'school' everyone, not me. When you try to back yourself up, it's your job to make sure it's the truth instead of bullshit. Are you caught up now?

So who did you ask? If you say "we always asked" who did you ask? If you personally didn't ask and never dealt with the brothrers then that would be hearsay on your part.

By the way those are sweet pictures with Jack. What year 1989? I've never had my picture taken with an accessory to murder before. You win.
