Yeah OK, but yours doesn't exactly look like that one.RockSkar wrote:Here's a picture of my car.
Keep in mind, that's not a picture of my exact car but it is built from the same model as my car.
And yeah, it is a 2003 Cavalier LV.

He mentioned he had a Lincoln one time when he was bragging about how his 2004 Chevy Astro was a collector car on the War Board. He's just waiting to put a pic of his oh-so-cool used car up sans cover so he can 'school' and 'pwn' all of you again, since he's not doing so well with the Station fire.Son_of_Sam_I_Am wrote:All I see is a liar, a tire, and a car cover.
POST THE PICTURE LIKE YOU SAID YOU WOULD.
And while you're at it, tell the class why don't you have this bucket garaged.

RevNPay2Play wrote:you are correct about how the Whisky works. And we did indeed pay to play at the Whisky once, but then we headlined for free.
You also said "we played there, headlined there and sold it out numerous times too. "
If you're saying that you only paid one time and then headlined for free "numerous times" after that you are lying out your ass.
Only when bookings slowed to a crawl were 2 for 1 deals ever made like that. Granted the 'scene' was never more extinct then from 99 to 01. They would sell a date and then if they believed you were a dolt without peer, they would call you back and offer a free date. It's known as 'watering' your mark. They looked at it as selling a cup of coffee for eight bucks and then saying your next cup is 'free'.
It has always been the booker's job to call every band that has played in the past 6 months and try and 're-up' them. The average skullet's band only lasts out here for a year before LA spits 'em back out to wherever they came from.
"I also understand that we were also invited to play on News Years Eve 2000/2001, which would have been cool." You are 'also' an idiot.
Then you found out how much it was going to cost you and the band broke up.

You know, you guys, Rev HAS duly noted that he has no capacity for wearing out on a thread like this. Having posted with him on the War Board for many years, I can say this is true. He can pad out this absurdity forever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever, and keep the retardation level at peak the whole time. And even as his friend I'm not denying that he's "the secret square" in this month's game of retard Tic Tac Toe. He apparently enjoys it.
Having said that - what's YOUR excuse for not putting this behemoth out of its misery? I'll admit that some of you are pretty witty, but the best "flame artists" on this board coming out and posting and replying and alternyming again and again JUST FOR REV, for like seventeen pages and counting, is kinda starting to prove his point.

True. It beats holy hell out of wading through slicer's word salads, at any rate.

Oh now I KNOW that wasn't directed at me!
You know my easy to remember motto..."Keep it goin' 'till the wheels fall off...then call AAA to tow ya somewhere to get new wheels put on, then continue 'till THOSE fall off...repeat."

Point taken, Daddy, after all this thread itself is just a spinoff of the legendary "quote-a-day" thread, which was meant to go at least a solid year by its very definition.Hungwell wrote:chicky wrote:Having said that - what's YOUR excuse for not putting this behemoth out of its misery?

Who gives a fuck when you get the next gig FREE ?!?!??!!!FUCK.THE.FACTORY wrote:Just to get things back on topic, the teacher has promised to show the students:
1) photograph of Lovin' Kry's name on the Whiskey's marquee when they headlined

How much does a band have to pay to play the Whiskey?
LMGDAO @ bragging about being invited to play for free.

"WHAT A BARGAIN!"
