Oh, we know how clubs operate. Just like we know that the group of people shown in the video quite obviously had little to no interest in "LOVIN' KRY."

Last night in the home region for a band moving to Cali? If they're popular, there will be screaming, yelling, demands for encores, people reaching up to the stage to shake hands, etc. Not that polite smatter of applause from your mom and girlfriend.

There were perhaps 15 - 20 people (and I'm being REALLY fucking generous) in that club that night that were there specifically to see your "Holy Cow I Missed The 80's" band. You know it, and I know it.

And you know what, shithead? THERE'S NO SHAME IN THAT. I AM NOT MOCKING YOU FOR THAT. That's right, you heard me. There are plenty of bands out there that would give their eye teeth for a live chance to expose their music to 400 potential new fans.

However, that wasn't good enough for you. You had to put thumb and forefinger together and pull your little pud in an attempt to make everyone think that you'd sold out the club. That all eyes were on you. That everyone was cheering for you. That crowd members were "clawing" for your merchandise.

It doesn't matter whether you did it as a joke, or you did it to "own" us. The point is, down deep inside, you're not proud of playing that club that night, video or no. You didn't feel that a truthful rendition of your activities was strong enough to stand on its own merit.

That's what sad, and that's what makes you perpetually "owned", both on the boards and in real life.

You should give these words some serious consideration.

The last few pages of this have been quite entertaining (including 'Susan' stating that she thought that RocknRev and Lovin' Kry both suck), but let's face it - even the greatest kickball in the world eventually becomes old and boring after a while, and isn't fun to spend time kicking around anymore. I've got bigger and better fish to fry, and this particular backpedaling kickball (see also: pinata) simply isn't even a blip on my radar anymore.
