I had nothing to do with that video being removed. By copying and posting a copyrighted video that person did so in direct violation of YouTube's rules concerning same. Musicians Institute, who owns the copyright, simply went through the proper channels - the video was deleted as well as the person's page who posted it. If you are enjoying any other copies of this video that are posted on YouTube do so while you can - MI has already notified YouTube of their existence. As such, they'll also be gone within 48 hours, as well as the pages that feature them.

I'm watching another MI instructional video on YouTube and the only content I can see that could be copyrighted is the trademarked logo at the beginning. The actual video may or may not be copyrighted (I kinda doubt it) but since it doesn't have "©MI Japan" anywhere in the video, they don't have much ground to stand on.

So what I would do is upload the video again with the logo at the beginning removed. If it gets taken down again, challenge YouTube. It's no more a copyright infringement than someone reuploading the Chad Warden videos.

If anything, you can just fuck with it a little bit and claim its a parody. Put a picture of a mummy at the end or something.

Also, why is this huge multinational corporation making such ghetto instructional videos on YouTube?
