Jeff winning the title here in Buffalo. I was 3rd row right behind the guys with the big Congrats Jeff signs. I marked the fuck out. That crows cheered on their feet for 20 minutes after he won. It was one of the biggest ovations I have seen live:

Here is two minutes of the off air celebration with Matt and HHH.

The biggest dig I've got on Jeff right now (aside from his mic skills) is the storyline they've got him in with his brother. It's way too obvious, way too easy. I saw that one coming the minute they gave Matt the ECW and Jeff the World Heavyweight belt. However I am diggin' the facepaint, it's a nice change of pace.

Same here on catching Raw. It usually is pretty interesting right after WM. The draft is right around the corner too and I always get excited about that.Shinerrox wrote:WM is in my backyard this year, and I have no inkling on going.. I my try to catch RAW the next night though..

Who can get excited about Cena, Orton and Edge. None of these guys are main eventers. And who wants to tune into HHH in his millionth Mania.silent_eyes wrote:Anyone else just not care at all about Wrestlemania this year?

Re: The New (Spam Free) Never Ending Wrestling Thread
Oh, I'll get it, but not necessairly for the main event/s. Orton V. HHH yawn, Show, Cena, Edge... Hmmm, Edge turns on show, show stomps on Edge and Cena whacks show then pins Edge. Cena's champ....agian.
the undercard matches do intreuge though.
Hardy V. Hardy should be a good show
Money in the Bank always a good show (even if it's got Tugboat Henry in it this year
The Diva's battle royal, might be worth a wardrobe malfunction or two.
JBL V. Mysterio will be worth it just to see Layfield beat on Mystero for a while.

Re: The New (Spam Free) Never Ending Wrestling Thread
Dave Meltzer is reporting Nigel McGuinness suffered a fairly serious arm injury at the Ring of Honor house show in Elizabeth, PA on Friday. McGuinness worked last night's 7th Anniversary Show in New York City in what was described as the "match of the night". According to Meltzer, McGuinness' injury will require surgery but he is going to wrestle Jerry Lynn in Houston next week. He'll be out in a few weeks and could miss as much as six months.
Meltzer is also reporting Larry Sweeney has been suspended from Ring of Honor. No other details are available at this time.

2 MORE wrestlers died this weekend:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Steve Doll died on Sunday at age 44. According to various reports, his family made the decision to remove him from life support. Doll worked as part of the Well Dunn tag team in the WWF back in the early '90s.
Andres Palomeque Gonzalez, who wrested as Abismo Negro, was found dead in a river in Mexico at age 37. Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer reports that Palomeque was plagued by drug problems throughout his career.
