Re: The New (Spam Free) Never Ending Wrestling Thread
I got to meet Ric Flair this afternoon. It was kind of rushed so I didn't get to say much to him. I just thanked him for entertaining us all of these years. Also I told him I wish I could see him kick Macho Man's ass one more time. He smiled and laughed and said "Me too." Haha.
This was in Charleston, WV. The mayor gave him the key to the city and declared it Ric Flair day. Here is a link to the video I took.

I knew people thinking Taz was arriving were smoking crack.
But Lashley arriving in TNA? That's going to be met with a thud.

Re: The New (Spam Free) Never Ending Wrestling Thread
He could have it for a week or a year, it doesn't matter. The fact is, that a man who 7 or 8 months ago was a play by play guy on Smackdown is now TNA's World Champion!!! And they will probably still wonder why no one can/will take them seriously. If the whole point of this angle was to get one of the Frontline members over, they completely fucked that up last night.Wicked Booze Hound wrote:

How could JBL ever be in TNA, since he's obviously going to be sucking Vince's dick in the WWE for the rest of his life.

I guess I am the only one who is glad Sting does not have the belt any longer. And hopefully Taz does join TNA!

Taz is already signed and will be Samoa Joe's advisor.Garbageman wrote:I knew people thinking Taz was arriving were smoking crack.

According to a new report by Dave Meltzer, former ECW and WWE star Taz is coming to TNA and the company will continue to slowly tease it. There were reports this weekend that his deal with WWE was different since it was an announcer contract and it prevents him from making appearances for other TV entities for a while.

Just because it's a better idea than Joe's current tribal knife and warpaint gimmick doesn't mean it's a good idea.Angry Jew wrote:Taz is already signed and will be Samoa Joe's advisor.
And I don't see the name Peter Senerchia getting much of a rise out of people, which is going to be another problem.

I didn't say it would but I am pretty sure Taz owns the rights to his name.Garbageman wrote:Just because it's a better idea than Joe's current tribal knife and warpaint gimmick doesn't mean it's a good idea.Angry Jew wrote:Taz is already signed and will be Samoa Joe's advisor.

It's hard to tell which is worse, the shitty booking or the annoying over-hyping of EVERYTHING mic work by the shitty announce team.
Cole: King, in your Hall of Fame career have you EVER seen a MORE emotionally CHARGED match... EVER?????????????????????????

It's SO obvious that Shane is going to turn on The H and Batista. Legacy's manager will soon be in place...

What makes you say that? I'm not arguing with you, but I haven't been paying attention, so maybe I've missed the signs.Monty610 wrote:It's SO obvious that Shane is going to turn on The H and Batista. Legacy's manager will soon be in place...
And IMO it really speaks to the quality of Raw when I would rather watch my Blackhawks get their asses kicked!!!

Re: The New (Spam Free) Never Ending Wrestling Thread
I thought the TNA PPV was pretty damn good for the most part. God, Angel Williams looked fucking sexy when she was almost knocked senseless. Nothing beats a roofie face combined with fake tits. I'm pretty much in love over here. Seriously, though, that must have been quite the concussion. She moved less than Hayabusa after a botched springboard moonsault.
