The Cena arguments are stale, what is he supposed to do, go to Vince and say 'Please don't push me? I don't want to win in a predetermined match?" Anyone who says Cena sucks, hasn't seen his matches with HBK. Yes, I know HBK could have a great match with a broom. Cena definitely paid his dues and he could leave to make movies, but he won't as he loves wrestling,probably more than anyone elese on the roster.

I say there are bogus endings to the WWE and World title matches cause they will want you to pay for the Bash in 2 weeks. Fuck that, hello Buffalo Wild Wings.

I actually don't hate Cena nearly as much as I did a couple years back. His ring work has improved light years from what it was, and he's capable of having a decent match with most workers now. I think his character is lame, but that's not so much his fault; it's more so the suck-ass writing. As for him paying his dues, I don't agree. He came out of development, midcarded for a year or two and then got the mega-push. He hasn't been through a 1/10 of the wringer/bullshit that Hardy has (although I will grant you a lot of Hardy's problems have been self-inflicted.)

Several media outlets have pulled their stories about Donald Trump buying RAW after finding out it is just a storyline. The media lead to believe it was real since WWE and USA Network both sent out press releases about the fake purchase. More than one outlet is saying they are done giving press to WWE, and the stunt likely won't sit well with the SEC.

- Irv Muchnick, author of Wrestling Babylon: Piledriving Tales of Drugs, Sex, Death, and Scandal, has confirmed in a blog post on his official website that Lisa Marie Varon (a/k/a Victoria) was not Chris Benoit's mystery "Diva mistress."

Muchnick's forthcoming book on Chris Benoit will investigate the suspicions of Nancy Benoit, Chris's wife, that he was carrying an affair with a "WWE Diva."

- Muchnick has another blog post, this time looking at the suspicious nature of Dave Batista's most recent injury, entitled Batista, Master of the Torn Triceps ... And Bicep.

In November 2007, he headlined a blog post Batista, Master of the Torn Triceps to note two previous occasions in which he was stricken with that particular injury, which is common among steroid users whose disproportionate muscle mass overloads tendons. Shortly after forming the Evolution faction, Batista tore his tricep during a match at the March 1, 2003 live event in Reading, Pennsylvania. Then, a few weeks later during rehab, he re-tore it "in a freak accident while jogging with his wife," according to WWE.com. As a result, Batista would be sidelined until October of that year.

In last week's issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, editor Dave Meltzer said Batista's frequent injuries are definitely not just a case of bad luck.

Meltzer wrote: "Batista's frequent injuries are hardly just bad luck. It's a combination of age, physique, and likely a lot of muscle/tendon imbalances because he's so big and muscular at his age. Torn biceps are not like torn triceps, torn lats and torn abs, which are usually the signs of steroid-related muscle injuries. The biceps, being a small muscle that bodybuilders train heavy, will tear more frequently on steroids, but non-steroid using lifters often have problems with biceps tears. He looked to be high risk when he returned carrying noticeably more muscle mass than when he left, even though he’s now 40. His new look raised a lot of eyebrows and questions including rumors that this injury was a cover reason for a suspension. However, we were able to confirm the injury was real and you don't have surgery to cover a drug suspension."

Via e-mail, Muchnick asked Meltzer if he could make his comments regarding Batista a bit more clear because while his injury was announced as biceps, it doesn't mean that it wasn't actually his triceps.

Meltzer, who rarely goes on record to outright accuse a wrestler of steroid use (unless there is concrete proof), said Batista's latest injury was steroid related.

"Obviously, it was steroid related," Meltzer wrote in his e-mail to Muchnick, "but in fairness, guys not on steroids also tear biceps and not triceps."

Muchnick further noted, "As soon as I can figure out what’s going on with this latest round of WWE drug PR, I'll blog further about it."

- "The Icon" Sting defeated "The Blueprint" Matt Morgan after Sting escaped from Morgan's "Hellavtor" finisher and Sting hit the Scorpion Death Drop for the win. Sting remains the leader of the Main Event Mafia.

- Beer Money, Inc became the new TNA World Tag Team Champions by defeating Team 3D. The British Invasion got involved in the bout, ultimately costing Brother Ray and Devon the gold! After Team 3D hit their finisher, Rob Terry of the Invasion climbed up on the ring apron - causing a battle between Team 3D and the British Invasion. This allowed Beer Money to hit their finisher on Brother Devon to get the win!

- Kurt Angle became the new TNA World Heavyweight Champion by winning the King Of The Mountain main event, beating Mick Foley, Jeff Jarrett and AJ Styles...with help from Samoa Joe!!! As Joe was climbing the ladder to win it, he handed the gold to Angle! Joe shocked the wrestling world with his actions - the question is, what will be the fallout from what he did?

Angle's new look is pretty cool.

Per pwtorch, they didn't sell too well at The Palace. They said there were lots of visibly empty seats on camera in the lower bowl and the entire upper level was darkened...

Gerweck reported that they did just over 2,000 tickets sold and papered another 3,000. People were being moved from the hard camera side to try and make the building look as full as they could.

If the 2,000 number is accurate... they must have taken an absolute bath on this one. I guess it was worth a shot, but 2,000? That is an awful, awful number.

A shame too because it was probably the best show they've put on in a long time.

Back to the papering thing for a second. This was my problem with heavily papering venues from day one. The more you do it, the more people will be less inclined to purchase tickets if they know they'll be able to get them for free. I understand why they do it, but nobody is forcing them to book these venues that they have no shot at filling. If you can only sell 2,000-3,000 tickets... then book a 3,000 seat venue. It just doesn't make sense to book a venue that big if you can only sell 10% of it and it makes you look even more small time if you're running your biggest show of the year and the place is empty. Can't be a good feeling for your workers either.

It would be like ROH booking the Garden and drawing 1,000 people. What in the hell is the point? Just book the Manhattan Center and play to a full house, make a decent profit, and not hurt your future sales by letting the people that actually paid for tickets feel like idiots that more than half the people in the building got in for free.

This hasn't been Matt Hardy's year from a health perspective. At last night's Raw taping, Hardy suffered a torn abdominal muscle during his match with Kofi Kingston and MVP. The three way United States title match was taped for Superstars this week. Wrestlingobserver.com reports that as things stand, Hardy will undergo surgery later this week.
