Yeah it looks like they are going to put Swagger in Legacy.
Re: The New (Spam Free) Never Ending Wrestling Thread
Be a good rub for Swagger, who I think has a TON of potential, but I really kind of like it being a 2nd/3rd generation stable. Swagger being the tag partner Kendrick's been looking for could be an AWESOME fit.ozzyrulz777 wrote:Yeah it looks like they are going to put Swagger in Legacy.
Judging by one of the spoilers from the taping, there's another option for a 3rd member of Legacy if they choose to go that route and could work really well.

Ha,sorry. The MJ tribute wasn't my idea. The show is about 3 hours so I would fast forward to about 1:30 in. The Luger interview was co hosted by former WCW announcer Scott Hudson. Let me know what ya think.Stop_I'mAlreadyDead wrote:Hey AJ anyway to fast forward through all the fail of the rest of the show? I really don't want to hear the 'touching' tribute to MJ, really.
At what point does the luger shoot start?

Re: The New (Spam Free) Never Ending Wrestling Thread
- As seen on tonight’s ECW on Sci-Fi, several new members debuted on the main roster from developmental.
* Yoshitatsu debuted and defeated Shelton Benjamin with one single move after Shelton mocked him for 2 minutes. He is the former Naofumi Yamamoto who has been signed to a WWE deal since September of 2008. He has worked for New Japan Pro Wrestling in the past.
* Abraham Washington, real name Brian Jossie, debuted his new talk show called The Abraham Washington Show. It was a rough segment to watch and his first guests were The Bella Twins. He’s been acting as the general manager down in FCW and his gimmick is a take off of Barack Obama. He has trained at Ohio Valley Wrestling before and has been signed with WWE since September of 2008.
* Sheamus, better knonwn as Sheamus O’Shaunessy also debuted defeating a local independent wrestler. Sheamus was a star in Ireland before being signed by WWE in April of 2007. He’s worked numerous WWE dark matches and live event matches in the past year. Sheamus has held the Heavyweight Title in FCW before.
* Tyler Reks, real name Gabe Tuft, made his debut with a surfer gimmick from California in a backstage segment with Zack Ryder. He will be wrestling Ryder on this week’s Superstars. Reks is the current FCW Heavyweight Champion and has been signed to a WWE deal since February of 2008. He’s also held the FCW tag team titles before.

The word going around the locker room is that Vickie Guerrero was only being paid $500 per appearance by WWE. On top of that, she had to cover her own hotel and road expenses.
Typically, talent on the main roster net a $75,000 downside guarantee at the very least, so her salary was drastically below even the lowest paid main roster performers in the company.
Some wrestlers are understandably fired up over this rumor, as the feeling is that the company could have done more to take care of a person who was such an integral part of WWE.
Although, it's worth noting that WWE paid for Eddie Guerrero's funeral and likely did more to help out Vickie financially than the locker room is aware of.

$500 for one night a week. that's industry standard. i'm sure in her case she wasn't paying for flights and hotels.Angry Jew wrote:Credit: PWTorch.com

Seriously... I wish some of the "newz" sites would at least read what they type before they push "publish".

There was a picture of him from a couple of house shows with his hair cornrowed. He looked pretty mean. Be COOL if he went with that look and played a more vicious heel. Think he'd make a good fit, he's over, good on the mic, and is a pretty solid worker when motivated. Can't imagine much more motivation than being in the company's top stable. I guess we'll see.

I'm just worried too many people I like are going to end up in something like a "J.O.B. Squad on a pole" scramble. Especially since they seem to have buried people like the Miz in a matter of two weeks.

Re: The New (Spam Free) Never Ending Wrestling Thread
I can tell ya right now, if you've got any favorites on RAW, you can just write them off for the next 3 months AT LEAST. With Cena, HHH, and Orton on the same show, everyone else is going to take a back seat. Then you throw in Big Show and Batista, and right away you've locked up damn near half the show. With those five guys + Rhodes and Dibease, you've pretty much assured that everyone else on that show just became jobber extreme. Even a feud between Miz and Kofi Kingston would have been interesting, but they seem intent on burying KK under Big Show.Garbageman wrote:I'm just worried too many people I like are going to end up in something like a "J.O.B. As it stands right now, Smackdown is the much better product, and as far as this week goes, if it weren't for that stupid ass interview segment that ruined the middle third of the show, ECW would probably have topped Raw for the week.

How is being dominant throughout most of the match against the company's top face being buried? I'd be willing to bet that the Miz will win in their next match.Garbageman wrote:I'm just worried too many people I like are going to end up in something like a "J.O.B. Squad on a pole" scramble. Re: The New (Spam Free) Never Ending Wrestling Thread
-- With definitive word starting to break regarding Edge's Achilles tendon tear, focus has turned to how WWE will address the injury. Television is already taped for next week (and was scripted on the basis that Edge and Chris Jericho were the Unified Tag Champions), so it is unclear if WWE will make any official announcement of Edge's injury and the status of the belts until those shows air.
Edge will most likely undergo surgery and be out of action until early 2010.
-- CM Punk has been inching closer and closer to the official heel turn on television, but the degree of ambiguity in his television act was missing from last night's house show. Punk played a full-fledged heel, assisting Chris Jericho in an attack on Rey Mysterio.

...looks like Punk will step in to replace Edge.

He probably heard that Santina, the female alter ego, was fired. Meaning they're done with that storyline.
