Monday Night November 30 1992 Seattle Kingdome

Seattle vs Denver

16-13 OT Seattle

Greatest ugliest game I've ever witnessed live or on television. 4 or 5 QB's used, int's, missed field goals...We never wanted it to end and started rooting for dropped balls and fumbles.

*edit

Wasn't hard to get tix, a family hooked us up with nose bleeds for free then we scalped them for 100 level for $10 each.

Oilers/Bears at the Astrodome in I want to say 91 or 92 (something like that, long ass time ago). I don't remember the score, just that the Oilers won.

Saw the Jets beat the Dolphins 17-14 at Shea Stadium in 1980. My older brother bought me Schaefer beers all night, which was cool because I was only 15. :D

My first NFL game was on Monday night. It was Rams @ Saints. I have been to all of the Titans prime time games at home. It looks like the two we have this year may be the last for a while. The atmosphere is a lot different than a Sunday 12:00 game.

Yeah, I've been to a couple of Philly/Dallas Monday night games at the old Vet in Philadelphia. Tailgating on Monday is awesome.

Tailgating at the old vet? Did you need a tetanus shot?

Titans? BOO HISSS!!!!!!!

(sorry, I still have Oilers issues. I was a huge fan and Bud Adams will go down in history as an all time douche bag for moving my favorite franchise then having the classlessness to take the name and uniform with him. Seeing Tennesee in Oiler gear last weekend pissed me off.)

Never been to one. Hell, my first game ever was the Pats vs. the Chargers in the AFC Championship Game in 07. However, a bunch of us are heading down to New Orleans the day after Thanksgiving to do some fishing, golfing, drinking and a Monday night matchup between the Saints and Pats.

Well if it makes you feel any better they played like the Oilers in the old uniforms. Do you like the Texans now?

What do you mean "played like the Oilers"? The Oilers were the shiznit man! (OK, they had a bunch of bad years too, but I conveniently forget those and focus on the Luv Ya Blue teams and the Moon run n shoot era. Those teams won more often than not). I follow the Texans, yeah, but I'm not a rabid fan like I was of the Oilers. The Texans are hard to watch. Just when you think they may finally be turning the corner and becoming respectable, they decide to stink up the joint again. It was pretty sweet watching them beat the Titans a couple of weeks ago though.

I was thinking of the first two years they were here before they changed the name. It was a ghost town when they were playing in Memphis and then at Vanderbilt as the Oilers. As soon as they moved into the new stadium and changed the name everyone loved them. I was one of the few who didn't want them to change the name.

Getting tickets depends where the game is. All of the games are sold out here but I see scalpers across the street at every game. You will probably have to pay more for a prime time game.

Yep, snuck into a Chiefs Monday night football game one year when I was visiting my friend in KC. It was hilarious how we got in. I think they were playing the Raiders (maybe Denver), but I cant be for sure on that because I was so fucked up by the time we even got to the stadium, being fucked up plays a huge part in how we even got into the place without tickets.

The game at Sun Devil stadium when the action scenes for the film Jerry McGuire were shot. We didn't even know they were filming. I'm pretty sure they were still the Phoenix Cardinals at the time & they got destroyed by the Cowboys. I bought a Garrison Hearst jersey as a souvenir and never wore it.

December 11, 2006 we made the trip down to St. Louis for Devin Hester's 2 TDs and a Bears romp. I felt bad for the fans of St. Louis. Place had to be half full of Chicago fans.

No Monday nighters, although I was supposed to go to a Steelers / Jags game on Monday about 4 years ago. I had tickets, but something came up and was unable to go. I did however get to go to the Colts / Bears Super Bowl, which was awesome except for the fucking rain. We ended up watching the entire second half on a TV in the concourse.

Saw the Redskins whip the Eagles' ass in 1991 at RFK on a Monday Night, it was awesome. Great atmosphere, and I got to see Jim McMahon and his smokey faceguard. I was 16 or so and don't remember the tickets being too tough to get, a friend had an extra set so I went with my dad.

The Redskins were just awesome that year...seems so long ago.

I think Monday Night tix would be easier to get. People have to go to work in the morning.

Never been to a prime time game, but I was at the last 'Oilers' game in 1998 vs. Minnesota. It was freezing that day, and the Vikings won.

I'm going to the New Orleans / Falcons game at the Superdome on 11/2. Will be in town for Halloween and when I realized there was a monday night game, I decided to stay an extra couple days and go to the game.

Always wanted to go to the Superdome, and the Saints look awesome so it might be cool to watch a real offense at work. Could help cleanse the pallate after the last NFL game I saw, the 9-7 Skins/Rams stinker a few weeks back.

Got my ticket, a single, off of Ticketmaster. Club level 45 yard line!

Browns versus Bills in September of 1995, weeks before Modell announced "the move." Back in the REAL Cleveland Stadium. At any rate, the atmosphere for a MNF game is much different than Sunday at 1 pm. Wierd but true. The elusive Thursday or Saturday Night games don't really have it either. Although the television product has went downhill, MNF is still the coolest live NFl experience. I've been to games in other cities, in other stadiums, playoff games, nothing quite like MNF. Heck, I was in Cleveland one Monday in 2003 but didn't have tickets to the game (went to an Anthrax concert the night before) and the feeling of MNF in town was palpable everywhere.
