FOB singer mentions them in this interview.

RattDickSuckNut said what I was about to... I think Fall Out Boy got mentioned because they gave EZN a shout on Rolling Stone, and are from the same area (Chicago).
Fall Out Boy isn't my exactly my thing, but I can see similarities and would put them under the same power-pop banner. Fall Out Boy have songs I like.
Donnie's always been one of my fave vocalists. He has a Lennon/Costello vibe, the way he sings sounds as emotional and honest as anyone I've heard. It took Sludge mentioning that his pitch can be whiney for me to even notice, and now that it's been brought to my attention, I suppose it sometimes IS, and maybe that's why Enuff Z'nuff can be an aquired taste after all?
But I think Donnie's songs and lyrics are among the best. Certainly as good or better than most lame bands mentioned on these boards, songwriting-wise. An opinion of mine, not a fact... Someone quoted "Baby Loves You" lyrics, and I don't see the problem there. It's a simple, direct song... if you're gonna criticize that, compare it to "She Loves You," by Lennon/McCartney, just as thematically simple but similarly potent, as far as I can tell.
No, fuckheads, I'm not saying Enuff Z'Nuff and The Beatles belong in the same sentence. But similar to Cheap Trick, Enuff Z'Nuff used The Beatles as their template and created some great gems on their own. Unfortunately for their first record, they dressed as if a gay pride parade puked on a rainbow and never lived it down. Then apparently Enuff Z'nuff smoked a bunch of crack instead of taking advantage of opportunities, and that did not help matters either. But they have a catalog of great material for those who dig 'em, not a dud in their whole discog.
