WWE.com announced this afternoon that former heavyweight championship boxer Mike Tyson will appear as Monday Night Raw's special guest host on January 11, 2010 from Minneapolis. Jan. 11, 2010: Mike Tyson Very familiar with being the center of attention inside the squared circle, Mike Tyson is ready to return to the ring. Unlike old times, however, the former heavyweight championship boxer will not be slipping on the gloves and delivering knockout punches. He will, on the other hand, be delegating responsibility to WWE Superstars as Monday Night Raw's special guest host on Jan. 11 from Minneapolis.

if the guest host does run the show, Tyson should have a shot at Sheamus, then take the belt!

road to Wrestlemania with Tyson, then vs Bret at Mania

in the end Tyson and Vince fuck Bret over again
Jani Lane and Bret Michaels should form a band called "Nelson II"

Websites are stating that Scott Hall has signed a contract with TNA as is expected to be at Impact for the January 4th show.

I give the guy 2 weeks before he's canned again.

According to multiple sources within TNA, Scott Hall is expected to appear on the live episode of iMPACT! opposite Raw on January 4, 2010.

Hall is expected to reform an Outsiders/nWo reunion with Kevin Nash and Sean Waltman, but without the WCW labels due to World Wrestling Entertainment owning the trademarks. Some within the company are assuming that Hulk Hogan will also be part of the nWo reunion.

Hall last appeared in TNA two years ago, briefly feuding with The Angle Alliance (Kurt Angle, AJ Styles and Tomko). Hall was scheduled to partner with Nash and Samoa at the December 2007 pay-per-view, Turning Point, but Hall no-showed the event. During the live show, Joe cut a heated promo on Hall while Nash stood in the background. The incident went on to be the backstory for the lengthy feud between Nash and Joe.

Despite Hall’s poor track record with the company, recent reports regarding his behavior at independent shows have been positive. In a recent Twitter post, Nash vouched for Hall with the following: “Talked to Scott on Monday (December 7) and he sounded great!”

No. There were some issues with Marvel Comics at one point, though.

Hulk used Hulk Hogan and Hulkamania when he first went to WCW, but didnt Vince do some court order thing to stop him and WCW using those names? thats why he had to come up with something different, thats when the Hogan shirts were made, and he changed to Hollywood Hogan?

Am I the only one SICK of the 'INVINCIBILITY" of certain characters?

DX is WORN OUT.. not only are THEY old, but their act is somewhere between the hills and rocks.

I'm not sure Heart Dynasty is ready for titles... but at least they would be something new.. bring something new.. SOMETHING.

I'm a loyal Micheals fan.. but Triple H? Ehh.. done to death and back.

And for fuck's sake.. could someone PLEASE injure Jericho so I don't have to listen to his retarded interviews for a few months?
A nice broke femur would help.
He is BEYOND pathetic these days..
He's out of shape, hanging over his BORING BLUE tights.. doesn't even bother to react anymore.
*eh*... he rates up there with Kathy Lee and Hoda in the Entertainment Level...

Vince gave HHH what he wanted for Christmas, to squash the Hart Dynasty...HHH was best when he was hurt, fuck DX the new NWO

Hart Dynasty could of had a huge build up, then take the tiles at Mania or Rumble

Maybe the defeat on Smackdown leads to Bret managing them and a tag title win down the road?
I doubt it, but it's at least a possibility.
DX is completely tired and worn out. Not funny EVER any more and boring in the ring. Michaels seems like he'd rather be at home and HHH has been on cruise control forever.
I also agree, with a heavy heart, about Jericho. He has had some good moments with this new persona, but it's mostly too stiff and bland. I realize he had to be tiring of the whiny character, but he just doesn't work for me trying to be a hard-ass intellectual.

I'm not sure whose worse right now...

TNA is F'd with Hogan coming in and Bitchoff and Russo doing the writing..
But Vince is F'in it up REAL good too...

He's taking Morrison and making him one step above a Jobber... REALLY VINCE? Morrison has the top selling Merch right now, and you make him the Friday night boob? Seriously?
He's got Rey Mysterio, the 'most beloved superstar' in their own words, running around the ring hiding from the big guys..
He's got so many "INVINCIBLE" characters right now that it's hard to make matching because they can't pit the Unbeatable against the Unbeatable.. so we get to watch FINDLAY's old ass out there or Mike Knox ... he's down to actually using Jobbers to fight Cryme Tyme on TV... cause the only UNINVINSIBLE tag team there is right now had to get beat by the INVINCIBLE DX.

Vince's writers have dug a huge hole.. and the entertainment factor is falling in fast.

Vince is indeed fucked. As much as I enjoyed watching wrestling in the past, I just can't watch it anymore, he has got it so messed up right now, I can't bring myself to watch.

I did watch TNA for a while, and was entertained, but that too has failed to keep me interested in the last 6-9 months. The Hogan thing gives me a slight interest, just because it is Hogan...but then again that old bastard can't even walk anymore, I really don't want to see him wrestle again (same for Nash and Hall).

The whole wrestling industry is fucked, I don't think Vince or TNA either honestly know what the fuck they are doing anymore.

Hogan himself had deals with Marvel Comics, who had a patent on the name "Hulk." Anytime the word "Hulk" or variations like "Hulkster" were used on merchandise, royalties were paid to Marvel. Using the name "Hollywood Hogan," no royalties were due.

I think the WWF owned the patent on the term "Hulkamania" though so that wasn't used on WCW-era Hogan merchandise.

The only people that actually like the current WWE product are young kids. I'm a wrestling fan, but the WWE programming is just total shit top to bottom. I only watch because I hope for it to somehow be entertaining, but I end up being bored or frustrated the vast majority of the time.

Honestly, who of you here actually like the WWE right now?

Haven't watched RAW in a little bit, but I turned it on to see how they would lead into Bret showing up next week. I'll say this, that promo was VERY well done (even if it did have enough swerves in it that you would think Russo was the guest booker) and has me legit interested to see where they go with the Bret angle. Still shocked that Bret is going to play along with the Montreal stuff...

Speaks volumes about the state of the business though when heading into 2010 and the five names being banked on are Vince, Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart, Undertaker, and Hulk Hogan...
