I'm not surprised by that number at all. There is more down time in gridiron than any other sport. It's 5 to 10 seconds of action followed by over a minute of nothing, repeat until nauseous. Only baseball comes close to the inactivity level of gridiron.
A proud Steve Jones nutswinger since 1977.

And if you take out those shitty plays where a running back runs into the line of scrimmage and goes nowhere, and plays where the QB just throws it away, you're down to 5 minutes.

Soccer is intolerable to me. Like hockey, lacrosse... they just run back and forth and don't score very often. Boring.
Honestly football doesn't really even excite me that much. I play fantasy football but I don't watch many games, if at all. Not that interesting.
Can't bother with basketball.
Yet I love baseball.

I tried to watch an English Premier game this morning, I think it was Liverpool vs someone
anyway I just can't watch it. Now I'll watch some world cup though just because the USA is playing.

Malouda's and Ca$hley Coles goals were good goals. Sunderland were overran in midfield.jellyheadrobertson wrote:I support Liverpool and I couldn't watch it. Absolute shite!!!! Saw some of Everton beating Shitty City. Same there, really. Everton ran the midfield and City hardly got out of their own half. I'd laugh like fuck if City's season goes to shit from here on in after sacking Sparky.
