I'll give Abyss he's more talented than Evad... but that doesn't take much.

I bet there will be a 2 of 3 falls Anderson/Angle feud where the loser is injured for 6 months... and there will be a 6 month deal with both being injured for 6 months before the third fall.
I remember it, that was what 1994 or so? I was around. I don't really care for Abyss either. However, maybe this can finally give his character some direction. For whatever reason,Hulk sees something in him.

Angle/Kennedy could be a great feud that goes at least to if not past Lockdown.

Hulk saw a lot in Beefcake too. What a Starrcade when they faced off!

I don't care if Hulk brings in his buddies, that is how wrestling has always worked and always will. This OJ character of an open Bisexual is interesting (yes, I know there have been variations on this before) The Nastys suck but they are probably short-term. Hogan has no plans to put the strap on Beefcake. Who knows if he's even coming in.
What was the last truly ORIGINAL angle in wrestling anyway?
TNA,IMO has been blowing WWE away lately. They really need Jeff Hardy for the show on the 8th. When he comes in, they would be morons not to just make Jeff the number one face. Let him chase the belt and make it a big deal when he wins. Jeff is up there with Cena in terms of popularity right now.Very rarely is WWE forced to give someone a push based on fan reaction but Jeff got said push with TWO strikes.

Mysterio is a great wrestler... in his own element. But it is rediculas to have him constantly beat guys 10X his size. Just because he has been champ before doesnt make it any less of a joke that they fed us this same crap before. It was wrong then and it is still just as silly now.
Well then, let's just DUMP Rey into TNA..
Surely you will find it believable for him to beat up the geriatric crowd..

OHH WAIT.. Sorry.. Hogan and Flair are back in the ring.. Rey just wouldn't stand a chance.

Hey AJ, why do you think they edited Orlando kissing the dude out of last nights telecast?

I heard it went over like a turd in a punchbowl in the locker room and live audience.

All I know is that OJ's one match with Samoa Joe was more impressive than years worth of work that I saw from him in WWE.

Credit: prowrestling.net

The controversial footage of Orlando Jordan and his new male companion was not shown on last night's Impact. No word yet if it was Spike or TNA that decided not to air it.

A correspondent at the tapings said that the two didn't kiss but Jordan's male companion put his hands all over Jordan's body and went very slow around his crotch. They are doing a bi-sexual gimmick with Jordan as he came to the ring last night with the new male and a female companion. It's no secret that Jordan is really bi-sexual.

I think the captors of Samoa Joe are former (original) ECW stars. That is my guess. I like where it is headed. I also like the Abyss angle also.

Good angles can be rerun.

Evad Sullivan= Not a good angle the first time
Adrian Street/Adrian Adonis= due to be done again... I guess

The people doing reruns... awful!

Remember when they bought back the "Love Boat?"

If EITHER of these companies expect to make a killing in PPV revenue... they need to drop the prices ASAP. But instead of dropping them, they raise them even higher as the product gets worse & worse.

I can almost... ALMOST fathom paying $45 for Wrestlemania... but $45 for some ignorant throwaway PPV like Backlash or something? No way. It's a waste of money.

I thought TNA was solid last night.

The Hogan/Abyss segment was a bit corny, but still fun to watch. Yes, its a bit of the Evad angle, but I'm wiilling to be we won't see Abyss wearing Hogan's yellow boots or other gear in the ring.....Abyss being more a monster will make this work. Plus how will Bischoff react ot this?

Right now I think Kennedy (Anderson) is stealing the show on TNA. His mic work is entertaining as hell, and if this guy can stay healthy, I bet they'll put the strap on him.

Looking forward to Impact moving to Mondays on March 8th.....though I think Hogan and Flair need to stay out of the ring as wrestlers.

Well said. If they actually dropped the price to $15-$20 I would consider ordering them, but $45?......only if its Wrestlemania.

Rey is a great performer. But they keep putting him up against these guys like Batista and now Taker. The Elimination Chamber should do just that... eliminate him. I have seen The David and Goliath story way too many times now. It's time to turn the channel.

Rey hasn't been Champ for what 3 years

seems like Morrison "injury" will get taken out Sunday before the Chamber by Batista, so he can be in the Chamber

ever since the Bragging Rights team got changed with R-Truth, hes got a major push, thanking the wrestling gods for that

Rey as a world heavyweight champion is a joke, IMO. To think that little midget can actually defeat big men like Bastista, Taker, or Kane is beyond believability, even in the wrestling world.

They should have kepted the cruiserweight title and let him dominate and hold it for the last 8 years or so.

What's wrong with letting a guy hold a title for many years?.......it was good for Bruno, Hogan, and The Fabulous Moolah (yes, I pulled that last one out of my ass.....but she held that title for over 20+ years before losing it, didn't she?)

Speaking of title changes, I hate how people can't hold onto the title for more than a few months at a time nowadays. CM Punk is a 3-time champion already!!! That guy has NO BUSINESS ever holding a world heavyweight title.

AMEN!

I'm a Rey fan.. I LOVE Lucidore style wrestling.. I love the masks, the immulation of flying.. all of it..
But, I understand how people feel about his size.

Ditching the cruiser belt was a mistake.

AND NO.. CM PUNK should never be champ of any kind.
It's a stupid character and he SUXXs in the ring.

Punk is awesome. He was great in the Indys and Ring Of Honor for years before the WWE. It speaks highly of his abilities that the WWE is letting him use a character (SxE means I'm BETTER than You) that he created in ROH.As far as promos and in ring work, CM Punk is top notch.

Punk is awesome. One of the best things about the WWE. I like Edge calling him the "love child of Brutus The Barber Beefcake and Charles Manson". The first time he won the title from Edge was one of the greatest mark-out moments in all my wrestling geek history. Sure he might be coasting a little right now, but it's still great wrestling TV IMHO.

Oh, and the Sinead O'Conner looking chick in the Straight Edge Society is HOT. It made me horny when they shaved her head in the ring...

But now I feel like he is coasting and not really making an effort. For me anyway, his promos seem just blah, and some nights they just go on and on and on. And his in-ring work is ok at best. He has definately had better days in WWE rings. When Punk starts his promos, that is my pee break.
I blame "creative" for this. They're throwing way too much religious-themed speech into his promos. I know that's what they're going for (cult leader) but I don't think it's doing him any favors.

So WM will be HBK vs Taker, Cena vs Batista, Edge vs Jericho, I'd assume HHH vs Carrot Top, RKO vs Ted Jr.

I may have to actually get it this year.

That's cool that you guys don't like Serena. I won't have to fight you for her!

ELIMINATION CHAMBER RESULTS:

Cena wins Raw Chamber, then immediately loses title to Batista.

Jericho wins Smackdown Chamber (HBK showed up to superkick Taker and cost him the match). Obviously it will be Jericho vs Edge at 'Mania. Like I said, that will be match number 3 on the card but they will still say they "main evented" Wrestlemania...LOL

*AHEM*...
VA can back me up here..
I predicted the Jericho/Edge match-up weeks ago.
LAME!
That feud is OLD and OVER.. Jericho should be "pissed" at Big Show and Miz right now.. but they are ditching that (a more viable story line) for an ancient rivalry that no ones cares about anymore.

This is going to be the worst Wrestlemania to date.. SAD!

AS FOR CM PUNK:
Well.. I can see now why some of you think TNA is great..

TMZ reports that Jacqueline Beems, wife of Ric Flair, was arrested Sunday night after allegedly assaulting her husband.

Police were called to their home in Charlotte, North Carolina at about 11:40PM Sunday night. The police report says that Flair suffered minor injuries but declined medical treatment. Beems was taken into custody.

No weapons were used, according to reports.

The couple got married in 2009.

Undertaker suffered burns to his chest as a result of a pyrotechnic malfunction during his entrance when flames reached and burned his jacket as he made his way ringside for his match at tonight's Elimination Chamber PPV.

Upon catching on fire, he immediately ripped off his coat and sprinted towards the ring. He then doused himself with bottles of water before and during his scheduled match in the Elimination Chamber.

Company sources indicate Taker was extremely upset about the situation upon returning to the locker room, though officials worked to calm him down.

A video has surfaced on YouTube of his entrance, although WWE will likely have the video pulled. It happens at the :36 mark and Undertaker starts sprinting as soon as he catches on fire.

Here are some notes from fans in attendance at the WWE Elimination Chamber PPV:

Matt Frazier reports: "I was at the event and during Undertaker's elaborate into, a pyro cannon misfired catching his hat and coat on fire. He quickly threw off his gear and ran down the ramp. Once inside the Chamber, he was given water to help cool his hands. After the event, he was very animated, gesturing at the pyrotechnics booth as he walked to the back. I'm sure someone got an earful."

Neal Kendall reports: "Just got back from the PPV. Sounds like they didn't show Taker catching on fire on TV. During his ring entrance, he walked slowly over one of the areas where the flames come up and one shot up right through him. Pretty scary moment! After he flipped around putting the fire out, he sprinted towards the ring. He then spent time in his pod pouring water over himself."

James Ashcroft: "Looked like Undertaker ‘did things differently’ during his entrance, as he was pretty much engulfed in a fireball and probably wanted to get away as quick as possible. That's how it looked on my PPV feed, especially when I rewound and looked again: he's definitely stood in the middle of the stage as the middle flamethrower is active. I was quite amazed when I saw it, however noticed that no live report seemed to see it. He’s lucky to have escaped."

Robert Dalton reports: "He tore of his hat and jacket then doused himself with water when he got in the ring. During the match you could plainly see a giant red burn mark on his chest."
