Holy shit! The Bruins are leading the series 3-1.

But watch out, Bergeron now has 2 goals in the series and you know what Jacobs and co like to do to their leading scorers...

If Flyers and B's hold onto win, the NHL will get their wish. Caps and Pens in the conference final.

All the while, Gary Bettman secretly plots to move either Pittsburgh or Washington to the Western Conference so he can one day have a Pens/Caps final. "Mario - what if we had naked stewardesses? Do you think the guys would mind the cross-continent travel so much then"?

HAIL SATAN! It's funny, they're playing Sabbath in the background of the game clips on the local sports radio show. What a game.

Pittsburgh with the return of Savard will be entertaining. Last month the town wanted everyone traded and fired and now they're carrying the team on their shoulders down Causeway Street.

Now they're playing Maiden 666. Good times.

Tough break for the Habs last night. That shorthanded goal with 10 sec. left killed them.

The Habs have come out strong in every game and hung with the Capitals pretty well. Unfortunately, some major, self-inflicted wounds have produced huge turning points in the games the Habs have lost. This series should be at least 2-2. The Caps also have a gear the Habs simply don't have.

Still, with some tweaking (don't ask me how given the cap situation) the Habs can be competitive next year. They just need a creative GM and coach. The coach is in Hamilton; the GM currently works for TSN.

Of all the teams he's played for in his career,I find it ironic that the Devils haven't been one of them

The Bruins lose 4-1 and head back to Boston for game 6. What we've seen so far is that if Rask isn't just about perfect they have no shot because they'll never outscore an opponent that puts up 3 goals.

It's a shame the Habs aren't leading their series against the Caps! We should easily be heading home 3-2, instead of down 3-2. Still, I'm proud of the effort the team has put up and maybe, just maybe, they can relax at home and win a big game on Monday.

They didn't even get off the plane. No hitting, lazy forecheck, no sense of urgency.

Wolf, you could almost argue that the Habs could've won this series 4-1,almost.Game 2 was theirs, and game 4 would've had a different 3rd period had the Caps not got the short handed tally with 10 sec to go in the 2nd period.Hell, even in game 3,the Habs took the play to them in the 1st period.Bottom line:the Habs have been in every game(albeit only for a period in game 3 and 2 periods in game 4)of this series.

If the Habs somehow pull it out in game 6......

The Blackhawks lucked out today. If the Predators hold the puck behind the Hawks net for 30 seconds that game's over.
I'll take it, though!

What are the odds that not one person in attendance at the Sens/Pens game yesterday knew the hiemlich (sp?) manouevre?

I go into a movie with the missus and it's 3-0 Sens; I come out of the movie and learn the Pens have won 4-3 in OT. Sens choked worse than the Habs in game 2.

Date Night is a pretty good flick by the way...

The Senators had several chances to take control of that series and let it get away. They got what they deserved.

And yeah, Date Night is an okay movie. Not a classic, I won't buy the DVD, but it was a decent night out with the Mrs.

The Sens were just delaying the inevitable.

Why did they move the B's/Hab's series to Monday? Two days off inbetween games is unacceptable.

Funny, Ruff's been a bitch himself for most of the series. I've never heard so much whining.

Vanek has to play tonight.

Hopefully the 17K of Boston's finest drunks in attendance will provide a spark. How can a team need motivation for a playoff game?
