What a buzzkill. Yeah, it appears to be true. Is that a season ender? I'm thinking at least 3 weeks.
Damn, why couldn't it have been Satan...then we may have had a shot at pulling out at least one game.

I have to tell you that even as a life-long Habs fan, it's tough not to cheer for this Bruins squad. They're a resiliant bunch and a real threat now that they're relatively healthy (though it figures that Krejci goes down once they get Savard back). Claude Julien, who's been dicked around alot, deserves whatever success he gets.
It's a tall order, and tonight will probably tell the tale, but I still have my fingers crossed for the first truly meaningful Habs/Bruins playoff series in a long time.

Idiots around here are calling for Thomas to play game 4.
Idiots indeed. No disrespect to TimmyTommy, but Rask is in net unless he gets shelled or injured.
Losing Krejci SUCKS. I know they'll bring Sobotka in to center that line... but #46's playmaking skills will be sorely missed.

Ref'ing is atrocious in Habs/Pens game tonight. Even Don Cherry says so. I'm not one for conspiracy theories, but man it's looking like the league wants to give every chance for the golden boy to be showcased in the final again!
Alec - I'd love your thoughts on tonights 1st period. Does a devout Pens fan see it the same way as me?

The french speakers robbed that victory!

I am a life long Bruins fan and as much as it would kill me to see the Habs hoisting the Cup, I still want them to win this series so we can have a Bruins vs Canadiens conference final. If Bettman had a brain in his head he'd be hoping for it too.
And screw this Versus crap where they don't seem to mention the Dead Wings are killing the Sharks until they go live to the game after wrapping up in Frenchieville!

No doubt some calls were "missed",but teams with "superstar" players always seem to get those breaks...doesn't make it right, but that's the way it seems to go. I think back to the Pens 1st Cup....The Devils should've actually won the 1st round series 4-2, but the refs determined Laurie Boschman kicked a puck in the net(he didn't),and the Pens won game 6 in OT,then won game 7.

Seriously though, it was a nail biter. Who knows, now that Gagne is back (and making a difference) maybe we can stretch this shit to 6 or 7?
Man, I was just thrilled to see that sweet play to end it. Not the usual "garbage goal" with everyone just hacking away at a loose puck in front of the net in desperation, haha. Believe me, I would have taken one of those as well though.

Not funny. Though I get where you're coming from.
I think this is it for the Habs, but I'm betting the Pens DON'T win the cup, and it will be partially due to what the Habs took out of them, as well as what they exposed.

No disrespect intended, just a little levity.Gill has been an outstanding shutdown man.Not only has he effectively taken Sid out of the equation, he's also taken him completely off his game.As a fan,I'll take a break however it materializes itself.
Both the Sens and the Habs have played the Pens hard.I haven't seen the moxy nor swagger that they have displayed the last two playoff years.
Great scheduling by the NHL. Only one team in the East has an NBA scheduling conflict and they still can't figure it out. Now both series are head to head the rest of the way.
