Re: The New (Spam Free) Never Ending Wrestling Thread
- According to PWInsider.com, there is a rumor (and clearly just a rumor at this point) regarding Dixie Carter's big surprise for TNA. The speculation now is that TNA would be dropping their PPVs in favor of monthly live specials on Spike TV. Once again, this is only a rumor and has NOT been confirmed.

Daniel Bryan/Bryan Danielson/Ralph Machio whatever he's calling himself today is gone..
Don't think Vince wanted him to begin with. Made a complete boob out of him and called it a day..
Dixie's full of shit.. The PPV channel is probably sick of losing money and doesn't want to be bothered anymore.. Tommy Dreamer's 'entrance' didn't cause as big a stir as she thought it would so she retracts that there was going to be a big announcement and now says it will be gradual.
Her only hope is Paul E. ... and only if Russo and Bitchboy step aside.
(highly doubtful)
I like Tommy Dreamer... but at this point, Sabu couldn't liven up that cemetary.
WWE needs to officially do away with the U.S. title belt.
Miz has it for a year, doesn't defend it, loses it for two weeks and gets it back.. now it will just hang over his shoulder for another year or so.. what's the point?
It needs to go the way of the European title, the TV title and the Cruiser title.
And did I miss something or did Raw cut off the end of the last match to show Bret get beat up?
Did enjoy Jericho's temper tantrum though.. quite funny!

The way I took the ending was, the NXT crew killed the lights so we could all see what they were doing to Bret....I could be wrong!Caustic Queen wrote:And did I miss something or did Raw cut off the end of the last match to show Bret get beat up?![]()

You couldn't be more wrong. WWE wanted him for years. AmDrag was trained by HBK and could have been in WWE for the last few years. He wanted to wrestle all over the world so he said no, Nearing 30 he decided to give WWE a shot. He is an Internet darling who got mega-over in just a few weeks. This is a total work as evidenced by what Cena wrote on Twitter. He will be back.Caustic Queen wrote:Daniel Bryan/Bryan Danielson/Ralph Machio whatever he's calling himself today is gone..

Lots of guys are trained by someone famous... Stu Hart, Harley Race, The Funk bros. etc. Doesn't mean Vince is dying to have them.Angry Jew wrote:You couldn't be more wrong. WWE wanted him for years. Nah, I'll just catch the results on nodq.com or wait til tomorrow night. I will guess that Big Show and Edge win their respective matches tonight.

I don't think it will last long. Meltzer said they will do Mask Vs Title with Rey/Punk.OverMe wrote:Mysterio HW Champ again
This was a much better show than I expected. This NXT shit is OK but it would help if half the guys weren't jobbers. Tarver? Sheffield? Come on now. Anyway, Drew better get one of those Money In The Bank briefcases. I'm not enjoying his lack of a push lately.
I hope money in the bank is just one RAW/One Smackdown MITB match so that there are only 2 people with briefcases. They could fill the card out with Punk/Rey and Sheamus/Orton. I think Cena will be in a feud with the NXT guys and apparently Edge is leaving to film a movie soon. If they have a US title MITB, A tag-title MITB, A Womens/Divas MITB and Intercontinental MITB that will be overkill. Already, I can see the MITB match at Mania being ditched if they are just gonna have 2 or more MITB's a few months later at a PPV, the concept of MITB at Mania no longer means that much.

So did McMahon get attacked? I changed it before the Cena vs Sheamus match.

Yeah, they bluffed once and then attacked.ozzyrulz777 wrote:So did McMahon get attacked? I changed it before the Cena vs Sheamus match.
Vince took some NASTY bumps. Tarver looked like he was laying some legit boots to Vince, then a huge clothesline from Sheffield and finally Vince took a rough-looking finisher from Barrett.

so what happened to bret? did he get bored having to talk instead of taking bumps? seems kind of early to change the storyline he had.

I'm pretty sure that Bret will be back. I read his "firing" has to do with his insurance policy and them not being happy with his recent physicality though I'm not sure why they'd flip out over the limo/NXT angle and not his Mania match.Kid-Wicked wrote:so what happened to bret? did he get bored having to talk instead of taking bumps? seems kind of early to change the storyline he had.

Re: The New (Spam Free) Never Ending Wrestling Thread
Today marks the 3rd anniversary since the tragic double-murder suicide in which WWE Superstar Chris Benoit killed his wife Nancy, and their 7-year-old son Daniel before committing suicide. It would be further 24 hours before their bodies were discovered on June 25, 2007. It would be a defining moment for the wrestling industry in which it was forced to look at itself and change.
Have your thoughts changed? I think you gotta be a true Mark to argue that Benoit the wrestler can be separated from Benoit the murderer. The dude killed his own Wife and helpless Son. This wasn't a traffic violation, we are talking double murder/suicide! I can't ever look at a Benoit match the same way again. I used to like watching the main event from WrestleMania 20 at Madison Square Garden since I was there and it was such a moment, but now, not so much. It reminds me of OJ Simpson who was a great athlete but he will be remembered for the Ron and Nicole murders.

I can NEVER watch a Benoit match again. His career is as dead to me as he is. He never existed. His crime was so disgusting that nothing he did before warrants any merit whatsoever in my mind.
Shame too, because he was one of my favorites. But I haven't watched a match of his since...

There are a few idiots who think Benoit didn't do it. I love wrestling as much as anyone else but with the times of death and no other physical evidence from another person, how could anyone think he didn't kill them?Monty610 wrote:I can NEVER watch a Benoit match again. I don't specifically set out to watch his matches but I don't exactly fast forward through a Royal Rumble that he is in either.

I watched a match with "Woman" (Nancey Benoit) in it recently and felt really odd about it. Gave me an eerie feeling.

I had the TV on in the background tonight, and the Naked Gun came on, and I had forgot that OJ Simpson was in it. It kinda took me aback when I turned around and saw him on the screen.

ABSOLUTELY NO ONE.
I'd love to hear about HHHHHHHHHHHHHH -- (is that too many? He should add H's every so often) -- getting hit in the nose by a stray bullet.

Word is that Michelle McCool and The Undertaker were married in a private ceremony with friends of theirs in Taker’s hometown of Houston, Texas this past weekend. The ceremony was said to be small and private, with only close family, friends and people from the wrestling industry in attendance.
McCool and Taker have been dating for a few years now.
