Is anyone familiar with Tommy Newberry?

Post by invaziondrummer »

I have a friend who thinks he's "the bees knees" for writing a self-help book called 'Success Is Not an Accident: Change Your Choices; Change Your Life'

Looking into it though, he sounds more like an evangelical preacher than a motivational speaker. I guess the line between the two gets blurrier everyday. Maybe he's just two sides of the same coin. It turns out that he is also a Right-Wing activist who uses Christian ideology to write about how Obama's "agenda" is destroying America.

Here's a particularly interesting gem from his writings:

God help the person that gets their political philosophy from a fucking motivational speaker. That "list" is pretty simplistic.
