Looking at strike 3 for the final out never looks good. Remember Beltran in '06?

Yep, jeter looked bad in his last AB last night to but at least he fucking swung, even a check swing can fall in for fuck sake, each of the last 3 years Howard has focused on improving somewhere and he does get better in those areas, I think it's time he learned to not strike out 3 times a game. and I hope whoever gets Werth appreciates what they're getting, gonna miss that dude, the phils had better get a right handed slugging OFer to platoon with brown, I want Francisco the fuck outta there after that terrible AB tonight.

Didn't know Werth is leaving. That's a shame; he plays good baseball.

it's all but a guarentee, they claim he's a top 3 free agent target, the phils overpaid for Howard and I guess are planning on Dominic Brown to take over, but he's another LH bat who dosen't hit lefties well like Howard and Ibanez, having that RH power from Werth was important. The pricks should've brought back pat burrell after he was waived by the rays. They need someone cuz the braves and marlins aren't pushovers.

He's gonna get paid too. I think some team is going to overpay personally. He hit his peak at 30, and it's been only two years. Long contracts to players like that is usually a mistake. Kind of like how I look at the Mets with Jason Bay. Oh well.

How and the fuck SF won after Sanchez's performance is mind boggling to me. Good for them, but WTF?

Exactly, that took major balls from Bochy who out managed Manuel by a long margin in that series, affeldt's good but bumgarner is who impressed me, I figured the 21 year old would get rattled, nope, dude was money. Not taking anything away from the giants because trust me They are the better team, but Philly fucked that up, most games a starter comes out that early don't that team usually get beaten?

I said this earlier in the season, I t appeared to me that the majority of the phils players got fat and happy after 2 straight WS appearences and they took the giants for granted.

:D / :x Thanks a lot, Marlins... I'm very happy for him, though.

So what exactly is his status? Are the Giants going to sign him? I hope he stays in the NL at least, I can't wait to see him when he comes back here for a series. That's gonna be huge, I think, Cody Nation will be out in full force! (at least I hope so...)

Timmy doesn't look like himself so far (top 2). Hopefully the nerves will get out of his system soon.

Wow, Guerrero really is playing atrociously in right. Not really worth it to have his not-so-hot bat in the lineup, is it?
