Jesus, how and the fuck does a game started by Lee and Lincecum end up 11-7?
Oh well. I want it to go seven. This is the way to do it.

Re: Let's go SF Giants!
So, if the Giants happen to win, would the parade be on Market Street or the Embarcadero? What did the 49'ers use to do? Or did they just parade the Vince Lomardi trophy around South San Francisco and Portrero Hill?

Wow, a stat just showed on the screen saying 12 of the Giants' 19 runs in this series have come with 2 outs. Jesus.
They're making the Rangers their bitches in Game 2, straight up. This eighth inning is retarded.
EDIT: Make that 13 of 20, I suppose.

I'm guessing Market Street but not sure. I believe the last Niners parade back in 1995 was on Market.WOLF wrote:So, if the Giants happen to win, would the parade be on Market Street or the Embarcadero? What did the 49'ers use to do? No doubt. This series isn't going anywhere close to the way I thought it would.MurrayFiend wrote:Wow, a stat just showed on the screen saying 12 of the Giants' 19 runs in this series have come with 2 outs. Jesus.

Re: Let's go SF Giants!
I agree 100%. What happened to all the Giants' one-run victories? Seems like they had a harder time with Philly than they have with Texas so far.

I thought the Rangers bullpen would be an issue, but what the fuck? This is getting ridiculous.MurrayFiend wrote:I agree 100%. What happened to all the Giants' one-run victories? Seems like they had a harder time with Philly than they have with Texas so far.

Wow, this thread's as active tonight as Pat Burrell's bat.

Re: Let's go SF Giants!
Wasn't even surprised that Sanchez would perform like the choking dog he is tonight and the Kung Fat Panda showed why he has been benched. Hopefully MadBum can come through tomorrow.
Re: Let's go SF Giants!
Ack...hopefully just a bump in the road. At least the series got more interesting (trying to look at the positive here).
Re: Let's go SF Giants!
Giants postgame show was talking about whether Pat The (not so much) Bat will get benched for game 4

Re: Let's go SF Giants!
Looking good for the Giants. Even if Lee dominates tonight, and the Giants lose, you need to like Matt Cain pitching at home on Wednesday. If the Rangers somehow win two straight, It would be interesting to see what Bochy does for game 7. Does he stick with Sanchez with the hope he pitches as he's capable of pitching, or does he come back with Bumgarner who was dominant yesterday and has few enough miles on his arm to be productive on 3 three days rest?

Re: Let's go SF Giants!
no disrespect to SF but I'm still dumbfounded that a team stitched together with guys like freddy sanchez, edgar renteria, cody ross, juan uribe, travis ishikawa, pat burrell and career minor leaguer andres torres are one win away from a title. Posey and Huff were the only ones I worried about in the NLCS. Can't say enough about their pitching but Fuck their offense all of the sudden exploded in this series.

Bottom 4: If Timmy keeps pitching like this, the series ends tonight! Wow.

Here's the great pitchers' duel Game 1 promised. Of course I'd like to see the Giants be the ones to pull out some offense and finish the other guys off, but I'm enjoying this.
