Re: The COLTS Road BACK To The Superbowl Starts Sunday!!
Nah. Bad coaching in the first half by Houston (throwing on 4th and 2 when Indy has demonstrated that they cant stop the run?) Kubiak got too cute and paid the price. Epicically bad coaching, and Indy was Indy. I came away from it thinking that Indy has been exposed as a team that can't run or stop the run and the Texans are gonna go 8-8 or 9-7 again because their defense sucks and Kubiak is out of his depth. I'm calling it now. Titans will win the division.MurrayFiend wrote:I wouldn't mind being wrong, but I don't see Houston pulling this off.

The Texans had a mostly healthy team, plus 3 officials on their side, yet they still never had a chance in this one!
Nice job, NFL, of trying to ruin another great game with your awful "officials."

Indy rarely loses at home. The refs would never allow it. Big deal, so as of now they are the #4 seed because they have a worse conference record than 5 teams with an equal or better record than they have. Which would mean that they are going to have to play outdoors in January. And the odds are that it could be cold and snowy in Pittsburgh, New York, or New England. And we all know how Manning fares when he isn't throwing footballs in a big giant living room.

What the fuck are you talking about? Crow? I said before the game that I expected it to go that way. "You" didn't look anything like a Super Bowl team either. You could say that We13 is the biggest bitch who ever roamed Sludge. You could say that and you'd be absolutely right. You could throw in that he's a bet-welching pussy bitch who has forever forfeited his right to talk even his weak-ass shit. And you'd be right about that too.
Doesn't change the fact that the Colts looked pretty damn good, even as dinged up as they are. So much of their game depends on the pin-drop quiet of the IndyDome though...Home field is pretty important to them and I'm not sure if they are going to get it.

I don't think it's just the quiet of the IndyDome. It's also the lack of wind, rain, snow, and cold. And the friendly homer officiating crews. If Indy gets in and has to go somewhere cold and snowy they won't be the same team. Both their offense and defense rely on perfect conditions to be effective.

The pass offense was efficient, as always, and they got to Schaub on D, but they never did stop Foster. He ran for over a 100 on only 15 or so touches. If Kubiak's head isn't up his ass and he takes what they give him early, who knows how far that could have gone? Epically bad game planning on the Texan's part IMO. I know they're banged up, but they couldn't run the ball either. They were still throwing it when they needed to eat clock, and they got stopped in the red zone a bunch against a defense that has allowed touchdowns 80% of the time this season. Neither of those situations is going to help them much against the physical teams they still have to face this year. Taking we13's douchebaggery entirely out of the equation and looking at it objectively, the Colts don't look like they have what it takes to get it done this year IMO.Crazy Levi wrote:

Dude, let me ask you a question. Are you completely blind or did you just not watch the game last night at all? The was the most horribly officiated game I've seen in a while. The calls were decidedly one-sided against the Colts. The missed calls were egregious. If you would even try to deny this, it's proof that you either didn't see the game, or know absolutely nothing about football. Well we already know you know nothing about football, but you'd have to know LESS than nothing about football to think the calls were going our way last night. That's a straight up LIE.
Big deal, so as of now they are the #4 seed because they have a worse conference record than 5 teams with an equal or better record than they have. Which would mean that they are going to have to play outdoors in January.
This is both a factually incorrect and terribly misguided statement. Firstly, we own the tie breaker over the Chiefs by way of a head to head victory over them. Secondly, we still have a game against the Pats, which would ultimately decide that tie breaker. Thirdly, why the fuck anyone would be talking about conference tie breakers less than half way through the season is fucking beyond me. Then again, I'm talking to someone who clearly knows nothing about football, so that explains it.

Re: The COLTS Road BACK To The Superbowl Starts Sunday!!
Im a realist and the Texans are an average team. I dont live and die with the team I root for. I don't say "we" when referring to them, and I look at their strengths and weaknesses as objectively as I can. Their defense has been horrible all year. It's not one bad loss. It's 3. They have a fantastic offense, a terrible defense and a head coach that is going to make somebody a nice offensive coordinator soon enough. I had high hopes going into this season, but, they can't fix that defense this year. I'm not giving up on anything though. I never made Super Bowl claims. I thought they'd compete for the division this year, and they probably still will, they just won't win it. They don't gave the D and the schedule is too tough. I'll still watch them every Sunday and go to 2 or 3 games this year just like I always do, and I'll watch them go about .500 just like they always do. I'm just not going to get emotionally invested in it any more than I ever have. Sorry if you can't understand that. Unkike you, I'm a grown up. It's entertainment.
As to "sore losing", that would imply shifting the blame to something else, like, say, the officials, or the other team "cheating" with an onside kick or something like that. Sound familiar? I'm not blaming anyone but the Texans and their coaching staff for their failures.

Yeah shithead, and as previously posted that the game time conditions in Baltimore were mid 50's and sunny. Manning's record in bad weather is lousy. He plays 8 games in a dome, and then the 3 division away games are warm weather sites. And for some reason the schedule makers tend to send Indy to potentially bad weather places such as Denver early while sending them to California late in the season. Fucking coincidence, right? Anyway Manning is something like 4-10 in bad weather, stats that I previously posted as well.poizond13 wrote:If I recall correctly, we went on the road in Baltimore in the 2006 playoffs and earned a victory on the way to our Superbowl victory. Weather they are a 3 seed or 4 seed they would not have the bye and would have to go somewhere cold which at this point looks like Pittsburgh, NY, or Foxboro. Yes it's early, but in the NFL with a 16 game schedule and so many teams with similar records every game counts and you can start looking at potential tiebreakers around mid-season.poizond13 wrote:SkyDog112046 wrote:Indy rarely loses at home. No, I didn't watch last night's game as I had something else to do that was more important. But I've seen enough Colts games over the years to know that the officials give them plenty of gifts. Games in which the disparity in penalties has approached 100 yards in Indy's favor.

Re: The COLTS Road BACK To The Superbowl Starts Sunday!!
I'll try and explain this to you slowly, because, obviously, you don't quite get it. The Colts were clearly better than the Texans last night. I'm not disputing that. His point, that I countered, was that he thought the Colts looked really good. I think they did what they had to do in order to win against an unprepared team with a retarded game plan that I'll never understand. If you want to call the Colts the elite team that you seem to think they are, they should have absolutely destroyed Houston in that game. The Texans were pathetic last night. Indy did enough to win. Take away that last minute fumble and it's a 6 point game. Indy was clearly in control dude, but they weren't exactly blowing the doors off the joint. I'd argue your ""We" forced you to pass thing, because, the Texans didn't run the ball at all early. That was a huge coaching mistake. In the second half, yeah, the Texans had to pass. They sure as fuck didn't when it was 0-0. I know that goes a little over your little pea brain level of intellect, but, try and digest that if you can. Regardless, Indy was better, and no, I'm not a sore loser because I don't think it's anybody's fault but the Texans. Indy didn't cheat. The refs didn't hand them the game. They won, fair, and square. How does that make me a "sore loser"? I'm not going to say that Houston would have won if they'd played like they are capable of, because I don't know how well Indy would have played under those circumstances. Maybe they step it up too. Who knows? That's just a bunch of speculative bullshit that doesn't matter. I do know that Houston could have played MUCH better than they did. That wasn't Houston's best game, but I don't think it was Indy's either. Regardless, my point was that I don't think the Colts played all that great either. They won, fair and square, but I don't think they can continue to win with that level of play against the better teams in the league that they have yet to face. Is that clear enough for you?poizond13 wrote:![]()

Indy is not an elite team. I don't think there are any elite teams this season. Indy is beatable. A physical team with a power runner and a hard hitting defense is an unfavorable matchup for them. I don't know why more teams don't expose their offensive line and go after Manning. Knock him down enough and he gets rattled.bane wrote:I'll try and explain this to you slowly, because, obviously, you don't quite get it. The Colts were clearly better than the Texans last night. Re: The COLTS Road BACK To The Superbowl Starts Sunday!!
I'd say that's a fair statement. Indy isn't the well oiled machine they've been in the past, but nobody really is this year. Getting to Manning is easier said than done. That guy is the best there is at going through his reads quickly and getting rid of the ball. I think they're going to have a lot of trouble with the physical teams with good secondaries going forward though. They're one dimensional right now.SkyDog112046 wrote: Indy is not an elite team. I don't think there are any elite teams this season. Indy is beatable. A physical team with a power runner and a hard hitting defense is an unfavorable matchup for them. I don't know why more teams don't expose their offensive line and go after Manning. Knock him down enough and he gets rattled.

They won't win a thing with those two little RBs Hart and Brown. They need a power back.
He's like the Liberace of bass & pot.
