I remember seeing them thinking they were the most insane looking shoe's I had ever seen. I was 8 at the time. They're still gangster as hell though!

I always thought shoe-worship was some stupid, stupid shit.
In 7th grade I got a pair of the "1st generation" air jordans just to use as gym shoes during PE. There was a shoe store selling them for 10 bucks a pair - they had a huge bin of them. I was mocked by some of my classmates for having the "old shoes" which did nothing to change my opinion on the idiocy of people who give a shit about stuff like that.
Of course it's a shame I didn't buy the whole bin of them...aren't originals in nice shape worth a few bucks now?
