Heh. Looks like there's trouble in paradise up in Indy.
Manning rebuking his coach's poor ass decision on live TV...superstar receiver bitching about his superstar QB....
--------------------
08:08 AM ET 01.10 | Not since September 2004 had Reggie Wayne only made one catch in a full game, and he certainly didn't enjoy the most recent. "I give everything I've got no matter what. Every day, I give it everything. And ... one ball, that's all." During the regular season, Wayne finished second in the NFL with a career-best 111 receptions. Against the Jets and Pro Bowl cornerback Darrelle Revis, he had one catch for 1 yard. More frustrating to Wayne was the fact quarterback Peyton Manning delivered only one pass in his direction. "I shouldn't have even suited up," Wayne said. "I should have watched the game like everybody else. I was irrelevant."

Old? Really? I don't think so. We had the third youngest roster coming into last season. I'd venture to say that our roster by the end of the season was even younger due to the amount of rookies and undrafted free agents that had to step in. We have a very young roster on both sides of the ball that will improve greatly as another year comes along. And all of the younger backups that got a lot of playing time this year due to injury have no doubt benefitted from this playing time. This will improve our depth next year when most of the starters return.johnk5150 wrote:The Colts have become an old team rather quickly. The injuries don't help, but they simply aren't very talented anymore.

no matter how you want to spin the situation, your team lost (at home) in the playoffs!!!
next year will be more of the same.
the only difference will be the final score.
TAKE YOUR LOSS JR.!!!

"Manning is trying to do too much. The one year he won a Super Bowl, Tony Dungy’s defense covered up Manning’s poor playoff play (three TDs, seven INTs)."

Weak attempt on your part to put me down. The topic here is your team losing in the playoffs and not winning the super bowl.poizond13 wrote:Stop trolling, the adults are trying to talk football. Go back to the little kid's table, boy.Machado wrote:

What part of that don't you understand?
And if anybody around here has a dedicated seat at the kid's table, you would be sitting at the head of such table. RECOGNIZE!!!
In the last year you have been owned multiple times when discussing the NFL.
Once again you resort to childish behavior(again showing your age) and months to reflect on another loss by your precious QB.

Freeney is 31
Saturday is 35
Wayne is 32
Mathis will be 31 in a month.
Clark is 31.
6 of the team's most important players are old. That's a quarter of 'your' starters. Oh yeah, and 'your' special teams suck.

Peyton Manning's theme song:
Sing along ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KynpC1e9I9E )
I'm a loser
I'm a loser
And I'm not really a great Q-B
Of all the playoff games I have won or mostly lost
there are several passes I should never have tossed
My team was headed down the field, driving once again
I threw another I-N-T and the other team would win in the end
I'm a loser
And I lost another playoff game you see
I'm a loser
And I'm not really a great Q-B
All through the regular season passing records are going down
When a playoff game is on the line I can't make a first down
Colts fans tears are falling like rain from the sky
9 for 19 in playoff games is sure to make them I cry
I'm a loser
And I lost another playoff game you see
I'm a loser
And I'm not really a great Q-B
Early in the season my play is first rate
But when the games matter I'm not that great
And so it's true, we win a lot in the fall
But once January comes we always lose them all
I'm a loser
And I lost another playoff game you see
I'm a loser
And I'm not as good as Tom Brady

the thread should read:

It's hardly a rivalry when Brady has won 8 out of 12 against Peytowned and has 3 SuperBowl rings to Mannings 1. I agree, there is no debate. 13 out of 15 hall of fame QBs chose Manning over Brady. 2 votes for Brady isn't enough to make it much of a debate.

Peyton Manning. 9-10 in the playoffs. You must be so proud.
Re: The COLTS Road BACK To The Superbowl Starts Sunday!!
The poll was taken last Season. How many Superbowls have either one of them won since? None. How many Superbowl appearances do they have? Peyton has one, Brady has none. Peyton has one more MVP since that time. Brady has none. So in a way, you are correct. If the poll were taken today, it would probably be 15-0 in favor of Peyton.LetUsPrey wrote:Greg, you're delusional. Tom Brady's ''on the road back'' to another MVP year this season.
Peyton once again proved he's worthless in the playoffs.
Better luck next year.

Brady
3 rings
2 SB MVPs
1 MVP
Manning
1 ring
1 SB MVP
4 MVPs
Currently even, but Brady is about to get another MVP. And that poll you keep referencing was taken after Brady was trying to come back from a significant injury and several of those polled said they would have taken Brady prior to the injury but didn't know what to expect from him going forward. A question that Brady has more than answered, since he just put up one of the best seasons by a QB ever.
Brady just carried a team that was in a rebuilding mode and had one of the worst ranked defenses in the league to a 14-2 season. It's a young team that will also get a boost by having 3 of the first 33 draft picks this year, meaning they should be very good for another 4 or 5 years. It's conceivable that they could make a couple more runs at the Superbowl in that time. Barring another injury to Brady, there is a pretty good chance that he might win another one over that time span. It would be interesting if they went back and asked those same HOF QBs that question again. Given how Manning has declined this year, I think that Brady would win the poll.

Oh there's a debate. Both of them are great QBs. I have the benefit of not having a bias either way, and at this point, Manning is Marino. There are some people who think Marino is the best ever. It comes down to criteria. If Brady wins another one, which it looks like he might, he moves into Montana territory. When it's said and done and both of those guys are sitting around on their mounds of money, Manning will be second to Brady in most people's minds unless the Colts can manage to win a few more rings. Manning is getting old. He doesn't have much time left to play catch up.poizond13 wrote:Ding Ding Dingbane wrote:

You can't hang that "Marino" shit on him. He WON a Super Bowl. Manning is more like Brett Favre, minus the complete douchiness and sleaziness.bane wrote:Oh there's a debate. He's a great QB who has won a Super Bowl and lost a bunch of playoff games. He's not the Buffalo Bills, he's the Atlanta Braves.
And of course he'll never catch Brady. Brady is making a strong case for himself as the greatest QB of all time, while Manning is only making a case for himself as one of the greatest of all time. Elway, Steve Young, etc....it's really not bad company to keep.
