MOST of us wanted to see the colts lose, and the pats lose, and we got just what we wanted: The colts and pats sitting at home next weekend.

The Super Bowl will be the Jets and Packers, with the Packers winning. If the Jets can beat New England, they will beat the Steelers. The Steelers are overhyped and had an easy schedule, plus the beating they took from the Ravens took a lot out of them. The Packers are playing the best football at the best time, they would mangle the Steelers if they somehow made it.

I think the Jets chances depend on how well they hold on to the emotion they brought into today's game. If they can keep that intensity up, they'll beat the Steelers. It'd be nice to see the Jets pull it off. I'm sick of the Pitt, Indy and Pats AFC trifecta. Getting somebody else in there would be great. Either way, I'd say Green Bay is the team to beat at this point.

This is the jets' second straight afc championship game. They've played a ton of playoff games in the last 13 months, and won a bunch on the road.

I think Green Bay will beat Chicago and go all the way. They are the most complete team and Rodgers is playing great.

Pittsburgh should beat NY.

If the Bears had acted like they gave a shit in the second half yesterday, I'd have more of an argument for them. GB is favored by 3 already.

True. There is a big difference between what Pats fans expected in September and what they expected in January.

No, I don't think so. Not the knowledgeable ones anyway. I know I still looked at that defense that was inexperienced in the secondary and missing key players up front and figured that although they might get past NY that they would be in trouble next week, and if they did manage to get to the Superbowl that they would get dismantled by Green Bay. GB almost beat them at home with a backup QB.

With an average QB and that suspect defense this was a 6-10 team at best. Brady carried them by putting together one of the best seasons ever by a QB. It wasn't going to continue without a little help somewhere, and nobody stepped up to help Brady yesterday. The positive thing is that they have a good young core that got a little playoff experience and will be more improved with all the high draft picks they have this year so I would look for them to be able to compete for another 3 or 4 years.
