You forgot the Devils. They're gonna easily win 35-40 games the second half.

Flyers beat up the Hawks today. Bobrovsky is back to the level of his early season performances. Still lots of time, but they are dangerous.

Savard out indefinitely with another concussion. This could be the end of the road for him. I think the B's need to at least shut him down for the year. He's been a shell of his former self. I feel bad for him.

Chia now has around $4 million in space to work with.

I PVR'd the game last night because I worked late and had a squash game after. Sure enough, some retard kid at the gym started screaming over and over again, "7-1 Canucks, 7-1 Canucks!". Every time I PVR a game the Canucks play awesome in, by hook or by crook I find out the score before watching.

That shitty story aside, glad to see some of the boys end their droughts

Just got back from my first NHL game. Been to pro hockey games before but never NHL... definitely a good time and I'll probably go again sometime. Of course the Sens lost.

For shits and giggles, here's how I see the first few rounds of the NHL All-Star Fantasy Draft going:

If Lidstrom wins toss:
Team Lidstrom: Daniel Sedin
Team Staal: Cam Ward
Team Lidstrom: Henrik Sedin
Team Staal: Jeff Skinner
Team Lidstrom: Henrik Lundqvist
Team Staal: Mark Staal
Team Lidstrom: Louie Eriksson
Team Staal: Steven Stamkos
Team Lidstrom: Erik Karlsson
Team Staal: Martin St-Louis

If Staal wins toss:
Team Staal: Cam Ward
Team Lidstrom: Daniel Sedin
Team Staal: Jeff Skinner
Team Lidstrom: Henrik Sedin
Team Staal: Mark Staal
Team Lidstrom: Henrik Lundqvist
Team Staal: Steven Stamkos
Team Lidstrom: Louie Eriksson
Team Staal: Martin St-Louis
Team Lidstrom: Erik Karlsson

Yeah, I know, they're the same...

Went to the Capitols game last night, which we WON bitches! But thought you guys might get a kick out of this, I took Slug from the Marvelous 3 and one of his buddies. He lives in my neighborhood and had never been to a game. He had a blast! Thank god they didn't play freak of the week on the PA, that happened at the last game I went to.

I don't know if any of you guys have heard of Eklund, from www.hockeybuzz.com. It's basically a hockey rumor site that some people take as the holy grail, while others (I included) see as total bullshit. Here's a hilarious video making fun of the site, and Eklund. Enjoy!

Rumor has it, that the Sedin bros could end up on opposing teams. They were talking about that on the radio. A lot of people believe this is going happen.

Of course an American was picked last. I guess that rumor I heard about the Sedin twins was true. Pretty cool, even if Ithink John Tavares should be playing in this game.

Dude it was a Thrashers/Islanders game on a rainy Tuesday night. You probably saw a tumbleweed blow by at some point.

I watch most Islander games, and they always have more people, no matter the weather nor day of week. They even play formore people at home.
The Thrashers will soon be gone from Atlanta, imo.

The owners have been trying to sell the Thrashers for six years. That story broke in the Atlanta Journal on Friday.

The Islanders broad casters predicted they won't be in Atlanta next year. I don't know what the average attendance is there but I'm pretty sure many minor league teams outdraw them.

I posted some figures earlier in this thread and it around 8000 a couple of months ago.
