There are at least five more important issues facing Cutler than whether he should have punched team doctors after taking a cortisone shot and being told he wasn't going back into the game and led the Bears in the second half. How can anyone be critical of a guy who's body doesn't work properly. I don't buy the 'if Drew Brees can do it' argument.

Is he a dick? Fuckin' A. He's definitely one of the most punchable people I've seen, and I love the team.

He sucked yesterday before he was hurt. That's a problem. He needs a QB coach who won't simiply be a yes man. He needs discipline. And receivers that don't fucking suck. Every pick he's thrown meant for either Knox or Hester were never contested by the either of them. They have no clue how to play defensive offense.

The Bears offensive line is a mutherfucking joke. How Jerry Angelo can even show his face in this town given the personnel he assembled to protect his franchise QB baffles me. He drafted Chris Williams to be the left tackle of the future and he can't block anyone having moved to guard. The other four aren't any better with an average age of 50. Any success Haney had yesterday sure wasn't because he had from those asshats. Every throw he made yesterday was pure fearing for his life instinct. If you didn't see that, you weren't watching.

Fuck I hate to like that team more often than not.

Bottom line is the horseshoe up Lovie's colon all year fell out before kickoff yesterday and the Bears were EXPOSED.
He's like the Liberace of bass & pot.

I did not have a rooting interest this past Sunday, but I am enjoying the fact that the Jets and their loud-mouth coach lost and watching the sad bears lose at home.
Fucking Chicago has the worst luck when it comes to baseball and the nfl.

LOSERS!!

Who here actually thought Cutler was going to play another terrific game and "lead" his team to a win?

Who here actually envisioned Cutler performing at a high level in the biggest game of the season?

Cutler really needs to work on his rep. He's hated among his peers! And goddammit, instead of pacing and pouting on the sidelines, WHY wasn't he talking to his teammates and QB, and discussing plays with the players and coaches? Firing his team up?

If he couldn't plant and his coach thought the team had a better chance with the other guy, then he took one for the team by sitting it out. His behavior could be pretty easily explained if he wanted to play and his coach and the trainers wouldn't let him. He's a bone head, no doubt, but nothing about that guy says "wuss". That accusation is unfounded IMO.

Cutler has a sprained MCL.

The way the Bears see it, Cutler doesn't owe anyone an apology. They think he's owed a few, in fact.

"I can't even believe I'm sitting here talking about Cutler's toughness," Angelo said.

Cutler is often criticized for his demeanor along with his decisions during games. But his toughness? That's a new one.

No one took a bigger pounding this season.

The league-leading 52 sacks barely reflected the number of hits he absorbed. He was constantly under pressure, particularly in the early going, and even when he runs, he'll often take the tackle rather than slide. He did it again at least once against the Packers.

"We're in a perception business," Angelo said. "I certainly didn't like what was said. I take that personally, too. He's our quarterback. We wouldn't have been where we're at without him, and I want that to be made clear. We stand by him."

Green Bay defensive lineman B.J. Raji said he also thought the criticism was "pretty wrong and a lot times it has a lot to do with jealously."

"We hit the guy pretty hard, we broke out some different angles, all different places on the field," Raji said. "I mean, he is a warrior. Any time a player has the longevity that he has had in this league you are a tough guy.

Having said that, I think the adversely cold weather and shitty turf will help slow down GB's offensive attack. The Bears are used to the horrible footing on that field, so that will benefit them. I also think Peppers will create havoc in the GB backfield.

As for the AFC game, Rex Ryan's defense has absolutely been on fire. They've been able to slow down the league's best quarterback and absolutely shut down Tom Brady. I don't see Big Ben being able to do any better. As usual, Sanchez and the Jets offense will do just enough to win and not screw it up for the defense. This should be a close game but I see the Jets riding their hot hand to the SB.
0 for 2.
Believe me, you don't want me to go back and count all the times you were wrong this season, troll. Remember your prediction about the Saints BLOWING OUT the Seahawks?

Yeah, my picks were both wrong, big fucking deal. I did, however, say that both games would be close and could go either way.

The week I missed the Saints game I still went 3 for 4. And then 3 for 4 again in the divisionals followed by 2 for 2 this week. And you record over that time was.... yeah, thought so.

And that doesn't even count the money I made betting against your boy Manning this year when you had Indy winning every week. You know what betting is, right? Oh, I remember, you do know what betting is - you just don't know what honoring your bets is.

Now go troll somewhere else and leave the football thread to the adults.

the bears are who we thought they were!

they are the biggest sham in the history of the NFL...they didnt have to beat 1 winning team in the playoffs to get to the NFC Champ. game

they also faced only 2 teams with a winning record on the road all year, and one of them didnt count...they went 0-2

only 6 games out of 18 the enitre year against teams with a winning record

the Packers had 10 such games, and went 7-3, including 5-3 on the road and 3-0 in the playoffs

people think Seattle making the playoffs is a sham, I dont think so...they had to earn the right to advance by beating a 12-win team...the Bears had no business at all in this game...they didnt earn it and they are an average team

fuck them, they suck

They beat the Packers, Eagles and Jets to get to the championship game. Calm down, Shecky. Lovie shat the horseshoe that was up his ass before kickoff yesterday. Yes the Packers are the better team. Don't knock a team for playing the schedule they were given. Bears fans behavior the past 24 hours regarding Cutler before the facts on Cutler came out make us seem like mouth breathing jerkoffs. The rest of the nation hastn't been much better.

A sprained MCL entails a ligament tear. The grade of the injury depends on how bad the tear is. Cutler's is a grade two- which is a significant tear but not a complete tear.
