That Rechlicz guy may as well legally change his name to 'Reckless' and cash in.

Good times. B's can contend in the east, but not sure if Kaberle brings enough to put them over the top against the best in the west. I'll be curious to see how they play against Vancouver on Saturday. At least Wheeler the invisible man in the playoffs is gone. We'll see on Peverly and Kelly, but good depth.

Kaberle is expected to re-sign with the B's in the 3-4 year range for around $20 million. He's represented by Bobby Orr's agency and needless to say they have a great relationship with the B's. Kaberle also wants to play in Boston. Ryder's contract falling off after the season will pretty much cover it.

It was great watching the B's last night. Every line was firing on all cylinders. Thomas looked great after a few good wins by Tuukka, just a great night to be a B's fan last night. Vancouver will be the real test. Should be a great game.

I really think Marchand is gonna become one of the elites in the NHL. it's basically his rookie season and he's third on the team with 19 goals, tied with Ference for +/- with 24, and he's got 75 hits. I love watching this kid play hockey. The Bergeron/Recchi/Marchand line is always fun to watch.

Don't worry. I'm sure they'll manage to muck it all up in the playoffs. They're the Chicago Cubs of hockey for god's sake. Wouldn't be shocked to see my Habs push the B's out the door. No matter how undermanned we might be.

Yes, but it's not THAT they lose, but HOW they lose that makes them Cubs-esque!

I have a friend (B's fab) who is always making fun of the Isles, and I'm always telling him the Bruins haven't won a cup since I was 6 months old.

Just like Flyer fan. They talk a lot of shit for never winning shit. 1975 was a long time ago.

Philly fan is douchey in every sport.
Even the Packer fans who sit by the opposing team's fan in Lambeau field told me Eagle fans are the worst of all NFL team's fans.

Upshall takes out Bartulus for the season and gets a 2-game suspension. Doesn't sit right, especially considering Scottie used to be a Flyer.

Kovalev to Pittsburgh for a conditional 7th round pick, becomes a 6th round if Pittsburgh makes it past the 1st round of the playoffs and Kovy plays in 50% of the games.Rumours of Alexsy Morozov hopping a flight to Pittsburgh in an attempt to re-create 1999-2000 are unfounded at this moment.

Alexei Kovalev Traded to PenguinsBy Adam Gretz NHL and NFL Blogger | Follow on Twitter: @AGretzText SizeAAAEmail ThisIn the aftermath of Monday's trade that saw the Penguins send Alex Goligoski to Dallas for James Neal and Matt Niskanen, Pittsburgh general manager Ray Shero made it pretty clear he would still like to add another forward to his roster. On Thursday, he did just that by sending a conditional draft pick to the Ottawa Senators in exchange for veteran forward Alexei Kovalev. According to TSN's Bob McKenzie, the draft pick is a conditional seventh-round pick that would turn into a sixth-round selection if the Penguins advance beyond the first round of the postseason

Cue the Jagr comeback rumors...

As much as a headcase AK27 is, the Pens got him for nothing, so it's worth a shot. Hell, if you put him on a line with Crosby, he could do some damage (when he feels like it).
