Don't underestimate Tampa fans. They're not Flyer fan, but lots of Yankees with no use for those two attention whores.

Weak but expected finale by the Flyers. Way to underachieve fellas. Hats off to Boston. I wish I could hit you all in the face with D cell batteries.
I sincerely hope at least half of this Flyers roster never appears in the Orange and Black again. Goaltending is nowhere near the only problem with this team.
Oh, and...

The Lucic goal to make it 3-1 pretty much ended it. Although I still figured Julien would do something stupid to fuck it up until it was 5-1 with 25 seconds left. They seem to be peaking at the right time and have a hot goaltender. They haven't been this far along since the Neely years. But I'm still not getting my hopes up with knucklehead behind the bench.

LOOOOOOOOCCCCCHHHHHHH

About time that motherfucker scores some playoff goals. Great game, great sweep. Philly should be playing much better than they are, I hope they get their shit together in the offseason because they deserve to be a much more successful team.

Good predictions.

Did you make a bet?
yeah, i'm in a couple of pools. i fucked up at one at work by picking washington to go through but i took tampa in the other ones.

with the player pools i picked guys i figured would be in the final 4 which i said was going to be vancouver/san jose and boston/tampa with a vancouver/ boston final.

B's don't win the cup without him. He's their best all around player in my opinion. Sounds like they're going to rush him back in about 2 weeks.
Welcome to the playoffs Seguin.

Local writers said next round will start Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday and the Garden's website says Sunday for game 1 and Tuesday for game 2. Very helpful when trying to plan which game to attend. NBC is also going to only schedule this series if Vancouver advances which means everything will have to revolve around their Sunday afternoon slot which blows. Tampa Bay also scheduled Disney on Ice, so it's going to be back to back in FL.

I don't think the Bruins will be outworked in front of the net/in the corners like the Sabres were, though.Going to be a crash bang series, the difference might be Briere,if he gets effectively shut down, the Bruins should prevail.
Bullshit. I'd think again if I were you. When they play their game, no one outworks The Flyers. That's The Flyers' game (twice as hard, half as smart  )
At goalie is the only position The Bruins have an advantage.

You know what,I thought about it again, and I stand by my analysis.

Bruins/Flyers on Versus had better ratings locally than Celtics/Heat on ABC. Game 7 of B's/Habs was the highest rated broadcast in the history of NESN, which also broadcasts Red Sox games.

Whoever is going to come out of the west is going to be dead tired. If Boston wins the East, they would have traveled to Montreal, Philly, and Tampa. Nothing too taxing there.

Vancouver played Chicago and Nashville.
SJ got a break playing LA, but Detroit is a long haul.
Detroit got Phoenix and SJ.

By the time the finals are set, the Western finalist will have logged way more travel miles than the eastern representative and that has to be some kind of an advantage if it's a physical, long series.

Hoping San Jose win game 7 because even though I hate them, I prefer to play them more than Detroit.

Thankfully it's a 9:00 game. I hate being a western conference team in the eastern time zone.

If Atlanta moves to Winnipeg, would Nashville move to the eastern conference? Makes sense for the southeast division.

There has been talk of that on the sports radio shows here.

They would give Washington fits. I can see it now. That would be a strong division.

Anyone in Vancouver, Tampa or Boston should be rooting for the Sharks this evening. Otherwise just give the cup to Detroit.
