Fuck all you naysayers!
Fuck yeah.
Downtown was crazy. Crazier than the Olympics. Got a red hand high fiving so many people. Great atmosphere.
Still anything could happen, haven't won it yet. Think it will go to game 7 and if the Canucks win it then well god knows what downtown will be like. If they lose -riot time!
Dude, for all I know I high-fived you. I went downtown right after the game and what a blast that was. I took some awesome videos of all the madness. Great times. I can't imagine what it'll be like if they actually win the cup. Just pandemonium.
I as well think this is going 7 though. The home teams are just relishing playing in front of their home crowd. If it goes to 7 and overtime, I'll have 911 ready to go

More than likely! Think I high fived about 50% of the population of Vancouver!

If the Canucks win their championship season is gonna be tainted by the amount of bullshit they've been dealing in this series. Burrows putting his skate over Lucic's stick and the random shots to Peverley's head were pretty god damn obvious in Game 5.
Quote of the week. Henrik Sedin on Mike Milbury, after Milbury refered to the twins as Thelma and Louise:
“I think he has to be happy with his career,” Henrik added. “He did a great job on Long Island. I’m sure he is happy with that.”
Gotta love that, and so true! When the hell did Milbury ever become an authority on anything other than derailing a promising NHL franchise or beating a fan with his own shoe?

I personally don't like Millbury, but the dude does commentary for fuckin 856 different channels. I'm sure he's relatively happy with his career.

The Canucks dive a lot and the Bruins give a lot of cheap shots
If the Canucks win, it'll only be tainted to those that are fucking jealous.
The Canucks have been the best team in the league throughout the entire series. Deal with it

“It was the fifth one,” Daniel said. “I took six punches. People are going to call us soft, but what can I do? We’re going to keep taking punches. That is the way we play."

He's not classy - he's pussy and a human punching bag. You can usually muster up at least a bit of respect for someone that fights back, but that was a disgrace to testosterone everywhere.

(Good thing the Canucks awesome trainers and medical folks has the good sense to make him get up and help get himself off the ice. WTF is wrong with them?)
Canucks Mason Raymond suffers major back injury, out 3-4 months
VANCOUVER - The Vancouver Canucks announced today that second-line winger Mason Raymond has suffered a major back injury - a vertebrae compression fracture - that will sideline him for 3-4 months.
Raymond, 25, was hurt in Monday night's 5-2 loss to the Boston Bruins in Game 6 of the Stanley Cup final. He was taken hard into the boards by Bruins defenceman Johnny Boychuk at the 20-second mark of the first period. There was no penalty called on the play as the two players appeared to be tangled up with one another, although Boychuk did get in one last vigorous shove.
Raymond was helped off the ice after several minutes and then taken to a Boston hospital.
The Cochrane, Alta., native, is in his fourth season with the Canucks. He had two playoff goals this spring and six assists.
The Canucks are flying home today and have an optional practice scheduled for Rogers Arena at 4 p.m.
The best-of-seven Stanley Cup final is tied 3-3 with Game 7 going Wednesday at 5 p.m. at Rogers.

Man - I didn't think it was possible, but I think Bruins fans hate the Canucks more than the Habs! Most of them seem to fear the Habs and even respect them on some small level.
